The girls in the dining room certainly give a good welcome start, they welcome you with kindness and professionalism, they immediately tell you the dishes off the menu!
Excellent wine list!
Good starters, excellent bagna caoda... but the tarta tatin, even if explained with dedication when it arrives at the table, is a terrible surprise... I would recommend the chef to see it again...

I've been a customer for years, but the last time I found it subdued... nothing unpleasant, obviously, but compared to the usual high level, I found the food offered, especially the dishes of the day, rather "anonymous".
For the price paid this time I was disappointed, but I think I will try again in the future.

On the occasion of my birthday we make an expedition to TO and come here for dinner. Very pleasant experience. The starter, first course, second course and dessert we took were really excellent. Place with a nice relaxing atmosphere. I definitely recommend it. I would go back!

Locale elegante, arredato con gusto e personale gentile. I piatti tipici della cucina piemontese sono serviti con un impiattamento ricercato e curato. Buoni gli antipasti (in particolare quello piemontese) e anche i carciofi fritti. Per quanto riguarda gli agnolotti del plin erano di dimensione troppi grandi per i miei gusti (troppa pasta). Buona anche la scelta dei dolci. Nella carta non c’è una scelta eccessiva di piatti ma sono cucinati bene. Prezzi un po’ alti (due piatti + dolce condividendo una bottiglia x tavolo almeno 50€)…ma confermo che le materie prime utilizzate sono di qualità. Unica pecca il doppio turno da rispettare (si inizia alle 19.30 e alle 21.30 e’ necessario alzarsi ..)

We ate here for lunch on a Sunday and were very satisfied.
The place is small but well-kept, the staff is very kind. Everything we ate was good and of good quality: the plin and agnolotti were excellent, as was the raw meat starter.
The only flaw was the position where they made us sit: a small closed and hidden room where they had created 3 tables, all very close to each other.
The prices are in line with the city and with the quality of the dishes... overall it was an excellent lunch, I absolutely recommend going there!

Excellent Piedmontese cuisine, traditional in context but elegant and contemporary, remaining convivial and welcoming.

The Fanfaron is a small bistro in a side street of Via Garibaldi.
Nice place with photos and posters of jazz musicians on the walls.
Great jazz music in the background.
Excellent taierin with Bra sausage.
The Piola suckling pig and appetizer are excellent.
The bottle of Barbera is excellent.
Very friendly, competent and professional staff.
Excellent value for money.
A nice place to return to!

Siamo tornati dopo alcuni anni in questo locale, che dire, veramente tutto ottimo.
Fantastico l'antipasto piemontese e i plin alle nocciole, molto molto buono il fritto misto alla piemontese. Il conto è un po' salato, ma le materie prime, si sa, costano. Locale che ricorda una vecchia piola (come è scritto fuori) o una trattoria d'altri tempi. Torneremo per la raclette
