Refined environment without being exclusive, highly professional service, high quality raw materials, processed with wisdom and creativity; but quantity also has its "importance". For this reason alone I gave the food 4 stars.

Beautiful restaurant on the Appia Antica, characteristic location. Good quality food. A little expensive... but sometimes it can be done...

This was one of the best meals of my life- a pleasure from start to finish. An inviting and engaging atmosphere with antiquities and an underground wine cellar (a former tomb). Service was skillful and the food was incredible.

Location: fiore all'occhiello del ristorante. Location estremamente elegante e suggestiva, immersa nella meravigliosa Appia antica. Cibo: era previsto per l'evento un menù degustazione comprendente piatti di e di carne. I piatti migliori per me sono stati la tartare di tonno e gli gnocchetti con tartufo fresco e funghi cardoncelli (piatto migliore della serata). Delusione sulla carne, la mia risultava troppo stoppacciosa a causa di una cottura andata oltre. Servizio: impeccabile, tutti gentilissimi ed estremamente preparati. Conto: forse un po' troppo alto, 265 euro per due menu e due calici di vino a testa.

Sono stato venerdì scorso con una coppia di amici. Location molto bella, curata con un servizio veramente di eccellenza. Senza tovagliato i tavoli in legno massello ed il camino acceso danno un senso di calore veramente gradevole. Tra i piatti che abbiamo preso alcuni molto buoni ( il maialino, la pasta con le acciughe) altri meno ( I sedanini con poco sapore, le patate novelle ben cotte ma senza sale, pepe e rosmarino risultavano anch'esse un po' insipide. Dessert buono. Mi aspettavo qualcosa di più dalla cucina. Come detto servizio eccellente, presente e professionale. Abbiamo bevuto un franciacorta brut ben servito alla giusta temperatura. Gran bella carta dei vini. Speso 300 euro in 4.
