You pay for the seat, less for the food

Abbiamo cenato nel bistrot ,scelta più easy per le nostre esigenze e senza nessun impedimento nonostante la prenotazione riguardava il ristorante.Il locale aveva molti tavoli liberi e da qui è sorta in noi la preoccupazione di essere incappati in una sola... Ci sbagliavamo. A parte la location fantastica, praticamente in mare, le portate sono state all altezza della migliore cucina della costiera ! Indimenticabili i tagliolini al limone! Ottima la tartarre di tonno. Un po meno il pesce spada con melanzane (la qualità delle melanzane forse) un grande rose' campano e la serata decolla. Consigliato

Being originally from Ravello but living in the north, for our holidays we spend the entire month of September in Ravello, when we return to our home for personal relaxation we go out every lunch and dinner, today for the first time we ended up here for a while curiosity is partly because we like to eat well... we had no expectations other than feeling good, at the entrance we were greeted by two very kind guys who parked our car for us with great care (even though it was a small car that we keep here in Ravello only for the holidays) but the guys treated it like a very respectable machine, upon entering we were welcomed into a reception where two guys who were also very kind accompanied us to the room, this evening we ate inside because the the weather didn't allow us to be outside, the place is beautiful, classic and also modern at the same time, the food is really excellent, above the average for the whole area, I don't know why we haven't paid the price yet, but for what I'm about to tell you the price is fine too. The welcome and friendly kindness of LORENZO the waitress is PRICELESS! very kind person, friendly and approachable, when asked can I see the place? He replied you can do whatever you want! Then he showed me every corner in his company, I truly felt at home! So much so that I let him decide what we should eat for the four of us! LORENZO took care of everything from appetizer to dessert! UNIQUE! EXCELLENT! if on the coast they had half of these head waiters every single visitor would be happy to return and pay the fee that this splendid location deserves! I REPEAT; Congratulations for everything at the La Cartiera restaurant; but above all CONGRATULATIONS TO LORENZO! Make the difference on all the head nurses in the Amalfi panorama!

Spectacular place, for the view, but above all for the food and the very kind staff.

The restaurant has an excellent location, with very good views. However, the dishes lack a little more grace, they are not up to par. The tuna tartare is somewhat bland, it doesn't have much flavor. The risoto is basically white rice with 3 shrimp and the ravioli are 6 units. We are left a little hungry. You don't eat badly, but you can improve.

Best views in the world, combined with great food and excellent service! They changed two dishes just to accommodate our wishes !
