The steak is a fiele mignon, the best part of the tenderloin, and I recommend it in truffle butter. Bistecca ala fiorentina—several types of beef with skin and fat—I don't recommend it.

It was a very cozy meal with typical Tuscan dishes! The chef was extremely patient and courteous in his advice. I wouldn't have expected such an ambitious and stylish restaurant in this small town! Thank you so much for the lovely evening!

Went with the family. The guy who ran or maybe worked there not sure was lovely. Very helpful. The food was lovely. Came quickly and couldn't fault it in anyway. Would happily go back.

After biking in the area, we stopped here for lunch. We sat outside and it was a really pretty spot and the menu had a lot of different options. I just had some antipasti that included a selection of meats, cheeses, and spreads. It was all so fresh and delicious. My husband had some pasta that he also thought was very tasty. We also tried the lemon sorbet and the chocolate tart and both of the desserts were great! The lemon sorbet actually came in a lemon. Very great for a hot day!

We returned to this restaurant for a second visit on our last night’s stay nearby and were treated in a very welcoming manner even after we explained that we couldn’t eat a big meal and only share one glass of wine. The owner poured our wine in two glasses and little treats were served with it - everything with a nice smile. The food was lovely again. As it was raining everybody was inside the cosy restaurant and we could hear that this was also a favourite place for locals, which is always a good sign. If we are lucky to return to this beautiful area another year, L’ Angolo will definitely be our restaurant to go to. Molto Grazie .

Todavía una joya escondida en un pequeño pueblo tranquilo. Pasta sin gluten sí. Encantador entrante gratis de aceitunas frescas encurtidas y astillas de pecorino. Derretir en la boca los hongos en el plato de pasta. Absolutamente delicioso minestrone hecho con amor. Cada verdura está perfectamente cocinada. Un lugar familiar y auténtico. No verás a otro turista.

Castello Banfi - Sala dei Grappoli

08/07/2025: We had a wonderful stay at Castello Banfi — the property is absolutely stunning, surrounded by breathtaking Tuscan views. The service was top-notch throughout our visit; the staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that we didn’t get the Junior Suite we had booked. While the room we were given was still lovely, it was a bit disappointing not to receive the specific accommodation we had looked forward to. That said, the overall experience was still exceptional — we’d definitely come back and recommend it to others!

27/08/2025: Very nice restaurant in a historic setting. Good food and excellent service.
20/08/2025: The location is truly evocative, it takes you back in time. Tartare with egg mimosa and pici cacio pepe e lime were truly delicious. The bartender and the ladies at the counter were truly friendly and helpful! We'll definitely be back, a wonderful experience.
