Delicious pizza in Rome, the spectacular Diavolaccia❤️. We went here for dinner two days. Very nice and a lot of local people go.

L'Angolo is one of the three AVPN-certified (no. 1030) pizzerias in Rome, alongside Margari and 50 Kalo. The restaurant has a pleasant, organic atmosphere. They use a real wood-fired oven, operated manually with the "pizzaiolo's eye" since this one, like most wood ovens, lacks a modern temperature control. I clocked the baking of a few pizzas, and the average baking time was around two minutes (while the typical range is 60-90 seconds, it’s not always followed). The crust showed significant charring at the edges but lacked a uniform distribution of the characteristic leopard spots, suggesting that the oven's temperature was lower than ideal and its heat distribution was uneven. This matters because it impacts the pizza’s taste and texture. Although I enjoy some occasional burns, my pizza was a bit excessively burnt and a bit too crispy. They use Rosso Gargano tomatoe from Puglia, which aren't exactly San Marzano tomatoes, but the supplier is AVPN-certified and the tomatoe spread tasted good. The cheese quality is also good, but during the winter months, the texture is firmer and the flavor and aroma are a bit stronger due to the cows' and buffalo's changing diet (lack of fresh grass). Overall, I'd return to try more flavors, though I think 50 Kalo still has the upper hand in Rome for Neapolitan-style pizzas.

A few steps from our hotel we came for dinner on the advice of a local friend, what can I say delicious pizza (with 7 grain dough too) the same goes for the pasta. Super friendly and welcoming staff Prices ber ratios between quality and price, we will definitely be back!

Perfect! Great pizza, I visit Italy often and this was definitely one of the best I have ever had. Very nice service, good wine.

I have visited this place over the years, and it doesn't seem to disappoint me. The pizza Is, of course, one of their staples but the lasagna is an amazing surprise, my wife says, it reminds her of the one her mother (may she rest in peace) used to make at home. The ambiance is typical italien, i especially love the backer with the hat, who always seems to leave his post to watch TV passionately, either for a football match or an interesting program. Just watching him is a delight. I love this place.

Cozy atmosphere, only local Italians dined. A large menu selection. Thin delicious Margherita pizza, the kids ate it all. And I tasted the Jewish artichoke. Liked it! Carbonara was also very tasty. We recommend!
