For once a good choice. Reasonable menu with reasonable prices. It is not always clear what you get. The soup, for example, was not soup at all, but a kind of stew with all sorts of things. I would certainly not order that again. Some menu choices are therefore difficult to interpret.
The food (pasta, meat, plate with meat and sausage types, potatoes and salad) was otherwise reasonable to good.
The service is friendly. It was reasonably busy.
The interior is not very special.

A very well-kept and familiar place along the main street of the town. As soon as we sit down they are immediately attentive in bringing us menus and drinks. We ask for a quarter of the house and they bring us a fabulous red.
The specialty of the area is pici which is made by hand here so we take the opportunity to have them with Cinta Senese sauce. We are delighted and full and instead of having a second course, we opt for the Antipastone del szio for 2 people, eating the three of us. Unfortunately there isn't a hole left for dessert so we'll take advantage of it the next time we're in the area to go back. Low prices. Congratulations to all the staff.

Locale nel centro storico non dispone di parcheggio.
Accessibile comodamente, si presenta in ordine e pulito, come pure i servizi igienici.
Menù vario toscano, all'assaggio non è il classico standard ma presenta qualche variante sul tema.
Negli antipasti ( crostini) la cosa funziona, nei piatti a volte un pò meno ( trippa con zafferano).
Peccato per la lunga attesa dei piatti, sia gli antipasti che le altre portate.
Prezzo nella norma.
In conclusione un buon punto di appoggio ma senza eccellenze
