The place is small with rooms with few tables so it is advisable to book. The staff is very kind and you can taste both the typical dishes and the very good thin and crispy pizza.

I'm giving it 5 stars because the owner and her husband deserve it, and the food was very good. Plus, the house and local red wine was amazing for the price. In short, I had a great time.

Happened by chance with the family on Christmas day. I was expecting a simple meal considering I hadn't booked and it was December 25th. Instead we found a warm and welcoming family-run environment, excellent food, homemade pasta, in short, everything was delicious 😋

Locale a pochi passi dal centro di Spoleto. Personale e titolari cortesi e disponibili. Cucina tipica di qualità. Strangozzi alla spoletina deliziosi e spezzatino di cinghiale morbidissimo.Una bellissima scoperta. Super consigliato

12/07/2025: We entered a magical, colorful place. The Matto welcomed us in a warm, beautiful, simple, but magical environment. The simple, yet genuine dishes from Grandma's kitchen were all freshly prepared by this true, sincere grandmother, just like her dishes that want to pamper you. Appetizers, two sausages, two steaks, and finally the magic and goodness of homemade pasta. I also liked the coffee. I can't tell you about the wines because we didn't drink them, as we are teetotalers, but I saw that it's a little gem within the restaurant. I'll be back as soon as possible. Highly recommended.
12/07/2025: A restaurant with a fixed-price menu, the price is definitely in proportion to the excellent quality of the food offered. The owner is friendly and not at all "crazy": he made us feel at ease and explained in detail what his kitchen offers. An experience to repeat!

03/05/2025: Tornata dopo 10 anni in questo locale. Che dire! Trovato la solita qualità del cibo!! Gli umbricelli più buoni mai mangiati! Prezzi nella media! Dolci squisiti
08/02/2025: Surpresa maravilhosa no caminho entre Siena e Assisi. Fizemos uma pausa para o almoço e não esperávamos tanto, mas o restaurante nos surpreendeu. O atendimento foi maravilhoso, a comida muito saborosa, com aquela sensação que “te abraça”. Me senti almoçando na casa da Nona. Comemos a pasta “Ignorante” , tomei o vinho da casa (muito bom!!) e de sobremesa, creme Catalão. Tudo fantástico!! Recomendo!!!
