L'Angolino da Filippo In San vito chietino

I returned after a few years but was disappointed. I don't think it deserves a Michelin star anymore. The place is nice and has remained unchanged. The staff is sometimes friendly but sometimes a bit rushed and uninterested. I had a pasta dish (good) and then for our main course we chose the grilled fish of the day. They recommended the John Dory, but the portion was really meager, with a small side of vegetables (they had said potatoes and vegetables, but only the vegetables arrived), for €20 each. They told us they grilled it, but honestly, it didn't taste like grill, it tasted like anything. Plus, we had to fillet it ourselves on the plate, so by the time I started eating it, it was already cold. We got very little meat out of one fish. Too bad, I thought I was going to have a good fish meal, but the portions were meager and the prices were unreasonable. Two dishes with a glass of wine were €50 each. The sad fish in the photo. I had good memories of it a few years ago, but from now on I don't think it will be worth going back.

Very intrigued by this historic restaurant, which I'd never tried before, I decided to book a dinner with my husband. Recommended Michelin restaurant with average service and hospitality. A nice brick location with maritime decor; don't expect a sea view. We ordered two portions of crudités (5 pieces + 1 oyster and 3 mini shrimp each), two portions of hot appetizers (5 pieces), water, wine, dessert, and coffee. Everything was average; perhaps the best was the licorice parfait. The cuttlefish tagliatelle with crispy Altino peppers came in second, and the tuna tartare came in third. Perhaps the prices need to be reviewed, as they're more in line with the Milanese market than the Abruzzo one.

We've been there, it's an excellent seafood restaurant, and we went back. Everything was excellent!! It's a shame the third time it was completely booked... Anyway, we'll be back as soon as we're in the area!

Historic family-run restaurant with traditional dishes and top-quality fish

Lunch stop at this restaurant listed in the Michelin guide. The welcoming and above all cool place is a pleasure given the heat outside. The focaccia del paniere is excellent. Spaghetti with black garlic and chopped prawns, chitarrine cuttlefish and peas, mixed grill, all pleasant without exaggerating. Two glasses of white pecorino and 1 desert.

Great alternative, prices or portions to be reviewed

Historic restaurant, which offers a menu of very fresh and excellent quality fish. We spent a pleasant evening, accompanied by very good fish, courteous and super helpful staff and an excellent bottle of wine. Highly recommended!

Sea view room. Note of merit for the attentive and kind service, among the best I have ever received. Excellent dishes arrived without waiting, well-recommended wines, generous portions. I would have extended my holiday to go back, wonderful experience.

Recommended. Good quality/price ratio. I recommend ending with a dessert, they're amazing
