I waited for service for 15 minutes. It was like I was invisible. The view was lovely. Didn't get to taste anything so I can't comment on the food.

We came here for dinner on Saturday night, our last night in Como. It was fun getting to see the Grand Hotel Tremezzo as we opted to stay in their sister location, Passalacqua. The lobby of the hotel was big and luxurious, a real statement. The Terrazza restaurant out on the terrace had beautiful views of the lake and I loved the primary colors throughout.
Service during out meal was exceptional as was the food. In fact, a friend that ordered the spaghetti with caviar and chives said that it was his favorite dish of our entire 10 day vacation. Other standouts were the egg in an egg topped with truffle and the filet. I thought the saffron risotto, which is their iconic dish, was very good but if I had it to do over I think I would have picked something else.
Overall a wonderful dining experience.

We were really looking forward to eat here and it did not disappoint at all.
The venue is beautiful and we got lucky to get a table right by the edge with a full view to Lake Como, the mountains and the town of Bellagio.
The staff was very professional, efficient and friendly. One in particular, Randy, got out of his way to make our experience even better.
We were tempted to order the tasting menu but we wanted to try other things not included so we ordered a-la-carte. In hindsight, it was the right decision.
Less than 5 minutes after we ordered they already started bringing out the food. We hadn't even finished our aperitif! hahaha
Started off with eggs inside an egg... excellent!
Followed by a 5-fish appetizer, all of them super good. Not everything was seafood, we also had some artichokes, cooked to perfection and their world-famous risotto with saffron and gold. Masterpiece!
We ended up very happy and satisified.
If i did our trip over again i would book dinner at La Terrazza very night!

We ate breakfast every day here during our stay. The restaurant is pleasently colorful. The China is very pretty with orange patterns. The silverware is real silver.
The food selection is fascinating, name anything you like and it's there. For an omelette you go to the kitchen or ask any of the staff for one and they bring it to your table. I even asked for whipped cream for my strawberries and they brought me some, house made. Yummy!
Giovanni our host was a delight to talk to and to chat about his past time stories.
One of the staff asked us if we like to see the kitchen and took us there and we met the chef G. Marchezi, one of the finest selected chef worldwide.

We decided to dine here for my birthday celebration night. An older British accent man took our order. We ordered “Black truffle stuffed lamb chops, cabbage timbale” but somehow translated into & received “Herbs crust beef sirloin, seasonal vegetables“. We asked another server regarding this item that did not taste like lamb nor any truffle flavor in it, seemed confused himself as to the ingredients were in the items: beef, veal, & lamb stated on the menu. He apologized but the older man who took our order did not seem to care nor visited our table to ask how everything was going, rather he was conversing with another table behind us the entire time. Our last dish took extremely long to come out that we did not have enough time to order dessert to finish our meal since we had to catch the last ferry back to Varenna. The food was good, but you’re definitely paying a lot for the view. A little disappointed in the service tonight and was looking forward to that lamb stuffed with truffle we were supposed to get. For a high end restaurant like this, I expected a little more from.

Beautiful view, I hardly recommend the risotto asparagi gorgonzola. The staff is very nice .
