Rustic and well-kept atmosphere, good service, excellent spaghetti carbonara, good and creamy lemon sorbet, shame about the veal cutlet which was a bit calloused.

Pastas were very good but the rabbit was so salty we couldn't eat it. Our waiter said he would let the cook know but we were still charged for it. Live and learn.

An absolute highlight! The pizza is indescribably good – thin crust with plenty of toppings and delicious cheese. The tiramisu is the best we've ever had.

I'm a chef who has also worked in high-end restaurants. I give it 5* because: Quick and professional service. Even with the restaurant full, we didn't wait for any dish. This means the kitchen is organized. The dishes were well-cooked, with a delicate flavor. Even the lake fish was pleasantly flavorful. The tonnarelli were cooked to perfection. I noticed several timers (divided by color) near the kettle...another sign of professionalism. The bill was more than fair. It's a trattoria, so don't expect plating or various dressings. But that's the positive side.

Highly recommended. Located in the pedestrian zone. You can eat outside. Typical pizzeria dishes. Reasonably priced.

We had dinner with a lake appetizer and a lake carbonara, both excellent. We were warmly welcomed with our dog, and we noticed huge pizzas at other tables that looked very inviting... it's a shame we can't return.

Ristorante Valle Del Marta

29/11/2025: A charming place with a lovely spa where very competent staff pampers you. I recommend the massages and the spa, it's wonderful.
13/10/2025: Wrapping up our 1 month vacation in Italy, one of the best memories is our time spent at Valle del Marta. Our Host (and owner) Mario was such a wonderful person who made our time there entertaining and he was extremely helpful (driving us in and out of Tarquinia for dinner each night. The staff could not have been more friendly - thank you Alessandra and Rita. After a long trip in I would highly recommend a massage in the spa from Rita - excellent. The pool and grounds were extremely beautiful and we even got a taste of the first grappa made this year by Franco (Mario’s brother). Not to mention their world class production of award winning brandy. No matter where we go in Italy on our next trip - we will certainly stay and visit with our friends at Valle del Marta !!
