Top cuisine, really good dishes, wide choice, even the meat is good.

Yesterday, March 7, 2026, we arrived in Castiglione del Lago. We weren't sure where to eat, and by chance we found this restaurant. We called and booked a table for two. When we arrived, we were greeted by a waitress named Ludovica. She was extremely polite, kind, and above all, very professional, and knew exactly what to recommend. We ordered a house appetizer, a first course: Pici al ragù (a type of pasta) and Pici al cacio e pepe (a type of pasta typical of Rome). This was a very strange choice, considering it's a Roman type of pasta. She also recommended a local sparkling wine (excellent) and a bottle of water. 1 coffee for the modest sum of €47.00. I have to be honest: we ate divinely, everything was delicious, in fact, we promised ourselves we'd absolutely return as soon as we're in the area. Excellent food, friendly and nice staff, we were there yesterday, we will do it again.

First visit there at lunch, great variety of meat choices cooked in open flame grill. Service attentive. Will visit again soon.

I had high expectations, to be honest. Super friendly service, super casual and very nice atmosphere. The food was nothing special; the restaurant was full, and perhaps the quality suffered.
