La Taverna di Castello In Cagliari

Had dinner with my wife on a Friday evening. Struck by the kindness of the staff... I took appetizers with octopus, prawns, bottarga, gianchetti. Spaghetti with lobster and another with clams and bottarga. Excellent mixed fried food. The homemade tiramisu is very inviting. Excellent quality/price ratio!

No restaurant is ever perfect! But the La Taverna di Castello restaurant in via Barcellona in Cagliari, among the many that I have tried in the surrounding streets, comes very close, indeed very close to perfection!! Starting from the appetizers, to the first and second seafood courses, nothing is left to chance. Succulent and abundant portions, with the possibility of eating either inside the restaurant in a rustic and well-kept environment, or outside where, with the temperatures still warm this autumn, it is still pleasant to stay outdoors. The owner is very hospitable, professional and at the same time very attentive to the customer's needs. Imagine that, while waiting for our table to be free for dinner, he joined us with a nice prosecco to make the passing of time less burdensome. Location, food, service, hospitality at the top! La comida era genial. Ambos estábamos contentos con nuestras comidas. El servidor era muy amable y servicial. Tienen una gran zona de comedor interior y también mesas exteriores.

The best food in the town. We have been here 2 times. Ravioli with prawns are perfect, fragola with mousles is perfect also! The prawn salad was simple but so good! And tiramisu was delicious! Great experience 💞

Nice restaurant, very good food too. I recommend the colurgiones with butter and bottarga which are served with carasau bread. As soon as we arrived (I recommend booking) they made us sit outside (as agreed) because there was an event of 36 people inside. The boy takes our order and the service was normal, but so far it's ok understanding the situation. We then order 2 seadas, after 45 minutes of waiting we ask for information and the waitress justifies herself by saying that there was a bit of a wait because there was only one plate. Now with all the good in the world but 45 minutes of waiting for two seadas (which you just need to fry) seems excessive to me. I wouldn't go back!

A beautiful discovery. We went for lunch last Sunday and were pampered by the kindness of the waiters and their owner together with the fantastic dishes they served us. Everything truly delicious. I recommend fregola and mixed frying. Exceptional, as are all the starters! We'll be back

Super cozy restaurant, the service was very quick and thoroughly Italian. We sat inside so we had the full experience, the waiters also sang Italian songs. The food was very pure, one of the best dishes we ate in Sardinia.
