What a hidden gem!, I’m so glad I went checked it out! Non-touristic restaurant in a non-touristic location, very delicious food, nice service and atmosphere. I highly recommend if you happen to be in Bisceglie! The food was one of the best I had in Puglia during my trip.

A sublime experience. Thanks to Donatello, who so wisely guided us on this wonderful gastronomic journey. Excellent staff, delicious food, courtesy, attention, and perfect organization. Credit goes to the owner Giuseppe, who with discretion and elegance oversees the perfect running of the restaurant. We will definitely be back. We were last night's guests from Salerno. A unique venue.

Posto accogliente, personale veloce e gentile. Si mangia bene e senza perdere tempo. Si spende veramente pochissimo nonostante si mangi quasi tutto di mare. Al momento del conto il titolare ha anche arrotondato togliendo 10 euro autonomamente. Dato la convenienza e la bontà bisogna obbligatoriamente prenotare con largo anticipo. Da ritornarci sicuramente sempre se riusciamo a prenotare...

Bel locale situato all'entrata di Bisceglie provenienti da Molfetta, bisogna prenotare con largo anticipo di settimane per trovare un posto di sabato e domenica....meglio andarci in settimana a pranzo. Bisogna presentarsi a digiuno perché gli antipasti sono tantissimi e le portate abbondanti. Camerieri professionali Che dire... qualità/prezzo eccezionale! Da ritornarci.

26/04/2025: La mia esperienza a pranzo presso il ristorante Antica Cucina 1983 di Barletta è stata assolutamente superiore. L'atmosfera accogliente e curata del locale ha rappresentato la cornice ideale per un momento di puro piacere culinario. La qualità del cibo era di un livello eccezionale. Ogni piatto che ho assaggiato era preparato con ingredienti freschissimi e di primissima scelta, esaltando i sapori autentici della cucina locale. Si percepiva la maestria e la passione dello chef nel reinterpretare la tradizione con un tocco di raffinatezza. Desidero sottolineare la professionalità e la gentilezza di tutto il personale. In particolare, sia Francesco che Nicola si sono dimostrati estremamente premurosi e attenti ad ogni dettaglio, contribuendo a rendere il servizio impeccabile e l'esperienza ancora più gradevole. La loro cordialità e professionalità sono state davvero apprezzabili. Consiglio vivamente l'Antica Cucina 1983 per un pranzo speciale a Barletta. La combinazione di cibo di altissima qualità, servizio attento e atmosfera piacevole, unita alla cortesia di persone come Francesco e Nicola, lo rende un'ottima scelta per chi desidera concedersi un'esperienza gastronomica di livello superiore.

12/07/2025: My husband, son, and I had lunch there on July 10, 2025, and it was a truly satisfying experience in every way: warm welcome and unforgettable dishes, both in terms of the ingredients—the fantastic Polignano a Mare carrots, first and foremost—and the innovative take on traditional local cuisine. I highly recommend everyone to stop by for lunch or dinner at the wonderful Osteria Frangipane! The homemade bread and taralli are exceptional!
09/07/2025: Last night, my husband and I decided to try Osteria after reading a very interesting article in the weekly magazine Gente, which extolled the key aspects of a good restaurant. Not only was everything we read accurate, but I would also add that the choice of ingredients, the attention to presentation, the professionalism of the staff, and the ambiance exceeded all expectations. We had a wonderful time; every single dish was served with care and attention, with unique flavors dictated by the use of excellent ingredients. The atmosphere was refined and very welcoming, and the staff was well-trained, capable, and very customer-focused. We had a wonderful evening. Highly recommended, we will be back very soon.
