The food was good but they changed us for blankets or materials (napkins) we haven't use.

We had a wonderful evening at Taverna del Borgo Antico in the beautiful Brera district of Milan. The atmosphere is warm, authentic and very Italian. The food was excellent — we enjoyed a delicious lasagna for our child and a perfectly cooked beef steak served on a hot stone, which made the experience both interactive and memorable. We paired it with a lovely bottle of Valpolicella Ripasso, which was a perfect match. What truly made the evening special, however, was our waiter Shabbir. His service was exceptional. Attentive, professional and incredibly thoughtful, he represents the highest standard of hospitality and truly elevates the image of the restaurant. He paid attention to every detail throughout the evening. At the end he kindly brought limoncello for us and even surprised our child with a lollipop, which made her very happy. These small gestures show genuine care and professionalism. Shabbir is a real asset to the restaurant and absolutely deserves recognition — and a promotion. Service like his is rare and makes guests want to return. Thank you for such a memorable dining experience. We will definitely come back! Thank you.

After reading about the small pasta portions, we ordered pizza, which was really good but totally overpriced. The place is a complete tourist trap; besides a service charge per person, you're forced to leave a tip. The drink prices are outrageously high. Never again and not recommended!
