Special experience in the heart of Valnerina. A magical place starting from the welcome, continuing with the atmosphere and ending with wonderful food that is no less important and worthy of note. A super special place and a must-see if you want to treat yourself to a break suspended in time while eating fabulous dishes and, why not, with an enchanting musical background.

The restaurant, in the splendid village of Vallo di Nera, offers decidedly well-prepared dishes with mostly zero-mile raw materials. For those passing through Valnerina, the advice is to treat yourself to an excellent meal in this restaurant.

A small but very good place. Excellent dishes, we felt at home. The owners are very kind, they offered us freshly baked pizza with 24 hour leavening before leaving. Truly recommended.

Tornato qua per la seconda volta visto che la prima mi sono trovato benissimo. E anche questa volta sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Antipasto buonissimo e il resto anche meglio. Una garanzia. Ottimo ristorante in un paesino che è una bomboniera. E i gestori molto gentili e simpatici. Non rimarrete delusi.

Bella posizione panoramica, all'ombra di pergola e tigli. Servizio, cordialità e gentilezza al top. Cibo ottimo con porzioni abbondanti al giusto prezzo. Non una grande scelta ma ben mirata. Da provare!

08/01/2025: Ho avuto l’occasione di cenare presso "Il ghiotto" con amici. È stata un’ottima scelta. Il ristorante ha una buonissima posizione, l’ambiente è accogliente, il personale gentile e il cibo ci è piaciuto moltissimo. Io ho mangiato un’anatra squisita, tutti i piatti sono ricercati e raffinati. Da segnarselo, se si passa per Assisi!
29/12/2024: We stopped to eat by chance, before visiting the Basilica of San Francesco. The place is small but well looked after and finally a setting with cotton tablecloths! Seasonal menu with excellent raw materials. Well cooked and presented with description from the staff. Excellent homemade bread and an interesting wine list: we quickly selected a Jura pinot noir from the independent vignoiron. Optimal! We will be back and truly recommend it.
