Typical Turin tavern much appreciated by the locals. Honestly, I wasn't enchanted by either the atmosphere or the food, which seemed a little too simple and not always well executed. I had the opportunity to try several courses and apart from the vitello tonnato which I found tasty even if a little expensive for the quantity offered, nothing else left me enthusiastic. In Turin I found far more interesting places.

Frankly, to me is 4.1. Overrated, but not bad at all. The quantities are small, Scaloppine al curry only had two medium/small pieces of meat and did not justify the price, but it was good and very tasty. Vitello tonatto was correct (not excellent) and could be bigger too, but again was good.
The waiters and the boss are charming and will make you have a good time, very italian extrovert. The desserts are ok. They treat to herbal pomace.

Dinner for two, we were the first at 7:30 p.m., without a reservation, but it filled up quickly. Very nice restaurant. The waiter was great. Very large portions of pasta. We had Vitello Tonnato, Agnolotti, Tagliolini ai Porcini and Brasato al Vino rosso and 1/2 liter of house wine + water. It was good and enough! 75€. We can recommend.

Ancient-looking environment with a history behind it. It feels like eating at your Piedmontese grandmother's house on Sunday. Sublime cuisine, simple and tasty. For a while I will remember those tajarin with fresh mushrooms and that braised meat in Barolo, what a treat! Plus, the waiters are quick, friendly and good at communicating with customers. To return

Ci siamo trovati talmente bene che ci siamo tornati due sere di seguito.
Locale accogliente, veniamo introdotti da un signore gentile e simpatico, ci descrive menù e piatti aggiuntivi
Seguiamo i consigli e gustiamo ottimi, ma ottimi, piatti piemontesi pieni di sapore e tradizione, il tutto con un buon Barolo. Questo ristorante offre un ottima accoglienza, cibi veramente buoni con molta cura negli ingredienti ( nel vitello tonnato ad esempio, si sentiva il buon sapore del vitello, non era tutto coperto dalla salsa tonnata) e prezzi assolutamente nella norma.
Ve lo consiglio.

Grandissima Mamma!!! Materia prima eccellente, cucinata con grande attenzione e servita con simpatia.
Tutto perfetto!! Dagli antipasti al Brunet una sinfonia di eccellenza.
Per chiudere con una grappa che mi ha ricordato mio nonno, tanto è delicata e fatta con amore.
I locali sono caratteristici, molto curati e di grande fascino.
E il conto è in linea con tutta il contesto, più che corretto!!!

It doesn't get more Italian than this. What an experience! My stomach processed what my eyes meant. At least, almost. Because I ordered so much that I couldn't finish it anymore. That had to do with the fact that I also licked every saucer completely and ate everything, it was so delicious. I will attach some photos. Nice host who spoke French, German and English (oh yes and also Italian). Smooth operation. Good food. Homemade pasta. Stew jerked meat sauce in Barolo for 5 hours and in the stomach for 5 minutes.
