What a fantastic restaurant. Excellent home-cooked local recipes, with a friendly staff that made us feel like we were home. We loved everything, but definitely have the agnolotti. We tried several others during our stay in Turin, and Taverna’s was head and shoulders above all the rest.

Everything was great. The atmosphere was romantic, too. Also suitable for dinner with friends. If Mom wasn't in the kitchen, we'd have to invent one. If I may, I recommend playing some background music to keep the conversation low. RECOMMENDED.

Historic Turin restaurant, tastefully decorated, with extremely friendly and professional staff! We were greeted at the entrance by the waiter, who kindly asked if we wanted to leave our coats in the closet as soon as we entered. The owner was very kind in explaining the various dishes. We'll definitely return. Five stars are not enough; it deserves at least double.

Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the after-dinner drinks... the dishes are simply excellent and traditional, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is fantastic. The owner speaks Italian, Piedmontese, French, English, and German... he's dynamic and very professional. We went back two nights in a row and will definitely return on our next visit.
