This might have been one of my favorite Italian meals of all time. The photos don’t do it justice. First off, I had the mind blowing arugula salad. Never have I ever had cut arugula, for some reason this changed my life in more ways than one. For the pastas, the three of us shared three different pastas. I ordered the daily special which was a mushroom, and then we have the ravioli two different ways. To top it all off we had the tiramisu for dessert. The waiter was so nice and friendly, also super funny. He was entertaining all of the guests with his bravado voice and welcome speech. I thoroughly enjoyed his energy as a waiter. The pastas were so fresh, and SO GOOD. If I didn’t have food coma from the gluten I would have ordered a fourth one. Not to be missed !! Truly a gem and super authentic cooking.

From the moment we entered, we felt very welcome there. The waiter was very professional. The food was very good. Best place in Turin for an authentic Italian experience

We had an amazing dinner at the Taverna dei Mercanti. A bit hard to find as there is no sign outside. We had delicious pasta agnolotti and mushroom tagliatelle, delicious! The service was excellent. We had called an hour before to make a reservation.

Superb restaurant! From the reception to the appetizer, to the main course, to the dessert, we have nothing but praise. The food was incredibly delicious and unique. We would especially like to highlight the waiter who accompanied us throughout the evening in German. He is also fluent in Italian, French, and English. The best vitello tonnato and tiramisu we've ever eaten! We can also recommend the homemade agnolotti ("ravioli" with beef) and the beef in red wine sauce.

Excellente expérience culinaire et culturelle ! Accueil aux petits oignons, on nous a expliqué la carte en français, en donnant des recommandations sur les spécialités piémontaises. Le vin excellent également ! Un repas 5 étoiles.

Nous aurons le plaisir de partager avec un couple d'Amis cette table qui a su conserver son esprit un peu hors du temps, avec une généreuse cuisine suggérant notamment des plats locaux et quelques excellents crus. L'accueil est fort sympathique et le service aussi efficace que décontracté. A noter que le dynamique responsable maîtrise parfaitement le français pour accompagner les francophones dans le choix des plats. Un rapport qualité-prix absolument correct et je ne peux que recommander cette adresse en insistant sur l'indispensable réservation.

Chalet sul lago

31/08/2025: A little gem nestled in the Alps overlooking a lovely lake. The chalet is family-run, and you'll find a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Romina and Monica work tirelessly to ensure their guests are always happy. I've never seen so much attention and affection. Our room was small but had a truly beautiful terrace. There's no air conditioning, but despite the early August heat, it was incredibly cool. There are no mosquitoes, so sleeping with the balcony open and the curtains closed was enough. The cool breeze does the rest. The small lake is lovely, and the walk is truly pleasant. We decided to have dinner at the hotel, and we were right. Everything was delicious and freshly cooked by Monica! Romina is truly a force of nature, exuding joy and enthusiasm. Breakfast was also excellent, with several of Monica's homemade cakes and biscuits. We stayed here for two nights, albeit separately. It was the first stop on our trip to Great Britain and the last. We had a wonderful time and would be delighted to return again. Highly recommended!

Everything is perfect: the rooms are welcoming and spotlessly clean, the food is excellent and caters to any dietary needs, and the surrounding area is fabulous! We'll be back as soon as we can.
