A quaint restaurant in the center of Limone. What can I say? First of all, the two brothers who own it are truly charming and knowledgeable. They make you feel at home and expertly explain the dishes. They don't pressure you to order just to make money, but rather offer advice so you can appreciate it, sometimes even warning you that it might be "too much," which is definitely not a given. Well done! The food is top-notch, with top-quality ingredients, many of which are made in-house.

Siamo tornati alla Taverna degli Orsi dopo alcuni anni e con grande piacere abbiamo ritrovato un locale ancora più accogliente. L’atmosfera calda e familiare si percepisce fin dal primo momento, merito anche dello staff: i camerieri sono davvero simpatici, disponibili e pronti a consigliare con attenzione piatti e vini, dimostrando una passione autentica per quello che fanno. Il cibo è semplicemente delizioso: piatti curati, sapori autentici ma mai scontati, con proposte che sanno sorprendere senza rinunciare alla tradizione. Si percepisce chiaramente l’attenzione alla qualità e alla stagionalità degli ingredienti. Un’esperienza che ci ha pienamente soddisfatti e che non vediamo l’ora di ripetere. Torneremo presto, questa volta con amici, per far scoprire anche a loro questa perla di Limone Piemonte!

L'offerta è ricca di piatti legati alla tradizione piemontese, esposti con chiarezza anche agli stranieri (nella loro lingua), con qualche originalità. Mia moglie ha optato per il "piatto dell'Orso" (in foto), io per tris di antipasti, uno dei secondi del giorno (coscia di anatra all'arancia) e dolce, il tutto accompagnato da un Nebbiolo robusto, suggerito dal cameriere. Tutto preparato con cura, servito con competenza, attenzione e simpatia dal personale di sala. Le porzioni generose ci hanno fatto rimandare l'assaggio di altre interessanti proposte alla prossima occasione. In conclusione: voto massimo alla prima esperienza, meritatissimo. E' preferibile prenotare in anticipo.
