We had dinner on the evening of 12/31, great experience! Restaurant on the lake, a beautiful view. Excellent food, fairly short turnaround times and friendly staff. The room and the bathroom were clean, although I didn't see it being divided between males and females. Prices I would say ok!

I can say that it was one of the friendliest restaurants, very nice organized without wifi to show that contemporary air when people were talking and interacting with each other, enjoying the food and the good mood. The staff is very well trained, they speak 4 languages, the menu is small and very accessible with quality and fresh products. For 2 adults and 1 child with a drink each and a menu plus dessert I paid 105 euros. It's worth it! I warmly recommend it, the food was delicious.

First of all, the most difficult thing is that you can only get parking spaces here if you are lucky. The motto here is rather: Don't reserve a table, drive there, eat, but drive there, see if you can park and then go out to eat. Anyone who has managed this will be rewarded with a nice atmosphere on an exciting curve with a view of the lake, entertaining and friendly waiters and very tasty food. The portions are rather small, but the dessert is varied and highly recommended. We would love to come back.

La taverna restaurant is located in Porlezza on the shores of Lake Lugano, with very funny and nice waiters and very, very tasty food! I can recommend it to everyone, we will definitely return here. Thank you, it was an experience!

07/01/2025: Chosen because it was a stone's throw from our accommodation, we were amazed by the goodness of the pizza. Thin and light pasta, many varieties of flavors to choose from. Excellent quality. The owners were nice and kind.
