On a trip out of the region, we came across this wonderful place, a village from another era.
While walking, there were many places, but we were drawn to this taverna because of the menu, which didn't just offer sandwiches or just first and second courses, but a nice full meal.
We didn't book, but we found a table, even though it was 3:00 PM.
Regardless, the food was excellent, the presentation was remarkable, the service was fast, and the staff were friendly. I'd happily give it 5 stars and would definitely eat here again.

We went with my family and some friends from Rome for lunch today. We had made a reservation over the phone for 11:00 AM, luckily, because when we arrived at 1:30 PM, everything was full. Our table was already ready, and despite the large crowd, we didn't have to wait long. The food was excellent and plentiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, the restrooms were clean, and the prices were reasonable. A great place for those who want to visit the castle, which is just a short, uphill walk away, but worth every step. I recommend the meatballs and the cheese tasting, excellent.

Ormai è diventato d'obbligo fare tappa qui se si è in zona. Arrosticini molto saporiti, come anche le tagliatelle con melanzane, pomodorini e grana. Tutto accompagnato da vino rosso della casa. Forse prezzi un pò alti, ma la qualità non si discute.

We had lunch at the restaurant while visiting the Rocca. We've been on vacation in Abruzzo for about two weeks, and I can say that this restaurant is in the top three for cuisine and prices. Excellent selection of cheeses and vegetarian options, excellent pasta, and unforgettable arrosticini (especially the liver ones). Dessert didn't disappoint either (lemon and meringue tart). There were no discrepancies between the prices displayed and the total paid.

Siamo stati con degli amici a cena alla taverna, cibo ottimo, dall’antipasto ai dolci. Personale gentile e posto da favola. Consigliato per chi si ferma a visitare la Rocca.
