Simple but suggestive structure, all in stone, with independent entrance located 15 meters from the reception/restaurant. We slept very well and waking up above the clouds was really nice for us who come from the chaos of the city. And then the restaurant.... Excellent dinner. I really liked the cheese and egg balls, the fried pecorino and the gnocchi. All in a small and welcoming place that also has tables outside. For breakfast we were served a spectacular apple pie, the best I have ever eaten. What to say? Highly recommended! Congratulations to Federico for the management and to the cook, a girl whose name (sorry!) I don't remember but I remember perfectly the goodness of her dishes.

Characteristic place in stone and wood, bar and restaurant service of notable quality in a strategic position just 10 minutes walk from the ruins of the castle of Rocca Calascio. We stayed in the Ginestra room, a little gem, furnished in rustic style but with all the comforts. At dinner we treated ourselves to almost all the starters on the menu, a first course and two side dishes, all courses prepared with quality ingredients and well cooked, it was truly a pleasure to eat here! Breakfast enriched with homemade desserts and served by the very kind Federico, who was welcoming and generous with advice and stories throughout our stay. A place we would definitely like to return to!

Good, right portions. Very good ravioli as well as tagliatelle with ricotta, lemon and mint. The tiramisu was a little too sweet in my opinion.

My husband and I ate here on a Sunday evening in August. A magical place, the cuisine is very good, simple food but prepared with excellent quality and local raw materials. The tavern is run by young, ready, kind and always smiling guys. It was a wonderful experience. I recommend it. The price is right, especially considering that we are at 1400 meters above sea level. Well done!!!!

On a hot August day, we were lucky and found the last free table, thus fulfilling our wish of eating right there.
Expectations were not disappointed, on the contrary...exceeded. Typical but above all excellent cuisine. Friendly and welcoming staff. Must try!

Friendly staff, very good dishes, if you are a cheese lover you should try the Grana di pecora.
Too bad it's far away for us but I would happily return. Compliments to the staff.
