Ormai è diventato d'obbligo fare tappa qui se si è in zona. Arrosticini molto saporiti, come anche le tagliatelle con melanzane, pomodorini e grana. Tutto accompagnato da vino rosso della casa. Forse prezzi un pò alti, ma la qualità non si discute.

Siamo stati con degli amici a cena alla taverna, cibo ottimo, dall’antipasto ai dolci. Personale gentile e posto da favola. Consigliato per chi si ferma a visitare la Rocca.

Guests of both the structure, where we stayed between the second and third stage of the Cammino del Gran Sasso, and of the restaurant...we had a great time! The small apartment is welcoming and has everything to give well-being and serenity (there is also a fireplace, which obviously we did not use in spring time..but it is a real gem! ). Located just below the Rocca, it also has a restaurant where we ate some delicious arrosticini! After sunset in Rocca Calascio..and not only.. recommended!

I am only reviewing the restaurant, as we stopped there exclusively for lunch. A very nice and welcoming place that deserves more attentive service. The arrosticini are very good, especially the liver ones, the tagliatelle with cabbage and bacon are honest, as is the giblets for appetizer. The price is a little high for the dishes offered, but we are not in a comfortable and flat city, so it is ok.

I happened upon it by chance coming down from the castle I tasted a delicious vegetable pie as an appetizer and then surprisingly I found the timballo di scrippelle with tiny meatballs from Teramo. for those who don't know it, it's a kind of lasagna made with very thin crepes layered with tomato, mozzarella or provola and tiny meatballs. Everything was very good, excellent service. I ate outside and even though it was May 17th it was so cold it made your teeth chatter.

Ristorante Albergo Lucciola

06/01/2025: We were looking for a hotel that was not expensive but clean and friendly, we found so much more! Sunny, so much warmth, it seemed like being at the "aunt's" house, everything was very good, Fabio's mother was so good at cooking, the sons and daughters-in-law were very polite and friendly, on the morning of the Epiphany Fabio even left us socks for our little ones! We recommend this warmth to all those who, like us, choose humility always and everywhere ❤️ thanks Fabio
07/11/2024: I'm staying here for a few days, the room is not modern but very clean and comfortable... I also had the pleasure of have dinner and lunch at the restaurant where I found everything of excellent quality, such as the homemade pasta, fantastic prices... kind and welcoming staff and the location is the best... in front you will find the train and bus station and it takes about 5 minutes to get to the center on foot from the station
