La Spiaggia In Cesenatico

Every restaurant has its target audience, its strengths and some weaknesses, but like all businesses, it has to make a living. My review is more of a review of the customers than of the restaurant owner. Many people I know have been frequenting this place for a long time. It was my first time there, and I almost gave up after reading some of the reviews. A well-kept establishment, a sea view, an excellent wine list, and attentive and competent service. Various quality breads, top-quality olive oil, and salted butter—that's the beginning... And it says it all! The fish dishes are just right, well-cooked and flavorful. The mixed fried fish is delicious, but it's a clever dish... The only thing I can say is that it's too much for the eye and less for the substance, but it's the indulgence. AN EXCELLENT LUNCH FOR 75 EUROS WITHOUT MISSING ANYTHING. This is a restaurant!

A sought-after place in Cesenatico. The aperitif was good, but expensive. The staff could definitely be improved. The music was a major flaw. At the tables near the speakers (one of which we were at) it was practically impossible to talk to each other, while at the tables further away the music was just background noise.

This isn't our first time at Maré, and it's always a pleasure. Enjoying an aperitivo right on the beach is an added bonus that few places can offer. The wide selection of drinks and the well-curated menu make the experience even more enjoyable. On summer evenings, the atmosphere is simply fabulous. Impeccable service: truly excellent!

A beautiful and well-maintained location on Cesenatico's Canal Harbour. Professional and knowledgeable staff. Excellent dishes made with quality ingredients. It's a gastronomic experience unlike any other restaurant and well worth the price. The sea view is priceless, combined with the pleasure of enjoying excellent dishes. Paid parking in the area is difficult to find during high season.

It's not a cheap place, but the breakfasts and aperitifs are very good and different from the usual, all in an enchanting setting. Service has fluctuated over the years.

We walked by it during the evening, during the day they have good prices to get some bites, as a beachfront restaurant, in the evening it becomes a very expensive but greatly atmospheric place, good ambient music, they accept only reservation but reservations can be made on their website

I love this place! The setting... a window overlooking the harbor that I'm very attached to... but the prices are rising every year. The products are good, but the portions are increasingly smaller, and the recipes are revisited. Good, but not for everyone. The service needs to be improved if you expect so much. Most people won't come because they can't afford it, but at least those who do get five-star service... I think at some point we need to stop the prices...

Last night, my friend and I were watching the prices for a bottle of wine at around 60 euros, drinks were running around the tables, and the waiters were always bumping into us. Unfortunately, it was negative. I won't be back.
