What can I say... what a discovery! At La Selva in Capalbio, the food is amazing: every dish we saw left us speechless. From the appetizers to the first and second courses, everything was top-notch, so much so that we couldn't resist ordering dessert too... and it was yet another confirmation.

Best seafood restaurant in central Italy, with a very fair wine markup. Excellent research, use, and preparation of raw materials.

Everything was truly delicious, from appetizers to desserts. Special mention goes to the panzanella, the cod with onions, and the fried fish. The service was attentive, but could be improved. The price was reasonable for the quality and generous portions. Overall, highly recommended.

We dined at the restaurant and, as usual, the food was top-notch. The service was very good and there was no long wait. The price was reasonable for the quality of the food. The wine list was extensive enough.

The La Selva experience, a charming restaurant near the Burano lagoon, is a must for anyone in the area. It can be reached by walking down a charming pine-shaded road (Capalbio/Selva Nera junction) or by following the coastal path. The meticulously maintained restaurant is warm and welcoming, with a slightly shabby atmosphere. The staff offers excellent, attentive service. The hospitality is absolutely impeccable. The menu is extensive and beautifully presented, including aesthetically pleasing. It serves both seafood and meat dishes. Considering the vast array of local traditional dishes, La Selva's specialty is evident in its seafood. Excellent appetizers (especially the famous calamari fritters, shrimp catalana, tuna tartare, and seafood salad) and delicious first courses (in addition to the classics, there are also a wide variety of other options). For main courses, you can choose from the menu or make a deal based on the catch. The wine selection is also very good, within very reasonable price ranges. The restaurant is divided into three indoor rooms, and during the summer season, it also opens outdoors. In warm weather, the spectacular sunset (see photo) is unmissable, and you can enjoy it during dinner. An update today. The fabulous, truly fabulous, crab tagliolini. A delight (see photo). And now I'll add the last photo... The splendid purple potato gnocchi with shrimp (cooked and raw) I highly recommend trying (if you can find them). One of the off-menu items the restaurant offers. I'd add a recent off-menu item: tuna tartare (expertly marinated in orange, sugar, and salt) with lemon-infused fennel and croutons. (see photo)

A restaurant in Capalbio that I consider one of the best. A wonderful selection of wines. I recommend asking Paolo, who is kind and attentive in helping you make the right decision. High-quality food.

Bella la location. Ottimo e vario il menù con proposte sia tradizionali che particolari. Ottima la qualità del pesce. Ottimo il risotto, gli spaghetti ai frutti di mare, la frittura e insalata di mare. Molto buoni i dolci. Attento e cortese il servizio. Prezzi in linea.
