I had dinner and stayed overnight. Excellent restaurant with good service, menu, and products. Simple, tidy, and clean rooms.

The restaurant is nestled in a wonderful setting. Unfortunately, we were there in the evening, so we couldn't admire the vine rows unless it was dark. The tasting menu offers three appetizers, one first course, one second course, and a trio of desserts, with the option of a gluten-free first course. With a half bottle of wine (an exceptional Dolcetto d'Alba), we spent €85.

Notice for diners requiring gluten-free options. The restaurant confirms its GF commitment and the wide availability of gluten-free options. But PLEASE NOTE!!! I kindly, and I regretfully want to point out, that the owner DOES NOT ACCEPT RESERVATIONS FROM CELIACS (or groups with even just one celiac) ON SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS DURING THE TRUFFLE FAIR (mid-September - mid-December) due to the excessive influx of people with GF requirements, which, she says, makes it impossible for her to carefully manage the issues resulting from contamination. She also informed us that if a celiac only reveals himself at the time of service, the restaurant will not be served. It's a shame, because despite having tried to book 40 days in advance, given the excellent reviews, I will have to opt for another restaurant (if I can find one). I am writing this without any polemic, with full understanding of the difficulties of the owner, who has been sensitive but equally firm in her request.
