Walking through Verona, I came across an osteria on my right. I stopped and looked inside at the simplicity of the place, and decided to go for lunch with my son. There, I found the simplicity and hospitality of times gone by, along with exquisite dishes that take you back in time.
Thanks to the owner, who still manages to maintain simplicity and authenticity even today 💫!

A family-run trattoria/restaurant, simple and authentic: people come here to enjoy good food without the fuss. Traditional cuisine features meat dishes, flavorful first courses, and generous portions; they often offer worthwhile daily specials. A good selection of local wines and friendly service, with staff who remember their regulars (always appreciated). Prices are reasonable for the quality. Parking is manageable in the nearby streets in the evening. Review updated after the last visit: I confirm that this is a reliable place for a genuine Veronese dinner.

Definitely my favorite place in the area! The place is nice and well-kept, a stone's throw from the historic center, but away from the confusion. The dishes are all delicious, tasty, cooked with care and top-quality ingredients. The spaghetti with garlic, oil and chili pepper with confit cherry tomatoes are out of this world, as is the tiramisu, honestly the best I've ever eaten. The meat is also cooked very well, juicy and very soft. In the summer, the panzanella is a must, while in the winter it is the pasta e fagioli, a delicious traditional dish. The staff is prepared and very courteous. Excellent value for money.
