Our dinner at Antica Torretta was a pleasant experience: we appreciated the great attention to detail and the refinement, but above all the high quality of the food, which was delicious. We especially sampled the bigoli and lamb, both superb. The interior is also very elegant, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

It was wonderful! A truly lovely experience and a beautiful restaurant. Despite its central location – just around the corner from a very busy street – we had a pleasant and cozy evening. We were thoroughly pampered. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and the service was very attentive. We'll definitely be back!

Service a bit slow and a long wait for the food. But what an amazing explosion of flavor when you eat. When you are seated inside, you can see the chef cooking with pleasure. No stress, everything calmly under control. And you can taste that too. Both the main course and the dessert were top-notch. Yes, indeed quite pricey, but with a top-notch kitchen, that is justified. You don't do this every day, so enjoy the flavors and accept the cost. Dinner for two.

Located on a cobblestone square in the heart of Verona old city and just few steps away from the Roman Stone Bridge, the Antica Torretta is housed in an historical building and has also a very nice outdoor area that, although directly on a parking lot, is very quiet and surrounded by beautiful, old houses. The interior is also well decorated and has a lot of character.
The menu is not very wide in terms of choices but the offered dishes are interesting and, what is more important, delicious and refined.
Prices tend to be on the high side but are justified by the quality of the food and the restaurant level.
The service is attentive and kind.

The atmosphere is very pleasant, as is the service. It's a shame the food was poor value for money.
I had bigoli alla chitarra with Spanish ham ragù and Parmesan fondue. The title was extremely intriguing, but the result was anything but. A tasteless mush unworthy of the place and the price. The wine markup ranges between 50 and 80%.
The three of us spent €235 for three appetizers, a first course, and two second courses, accompanied by a bottle of Durello Metodo Classico and two bottles of water.

Wow, what can I say, spectacular food and service on New Years Eve. If you want one of the best restaurants in Verona, then please book, otherwise you will be disappointed. Thoroughly recommended. We will definitely go back again when in Verona.
