La Polveriera In Pontedera

It was a lovely evening with friends surrounded by excellent tastings

I came for lunch with a friend with high expectations, as the restaurant is in the Michelin guide, and they were not disappointed at all. The place is very beautiful with a style between modern and ancient, the stone walls and arches give a lot of warmth and the furniture is a mix of ancient, modern and boho. The only flaw about the location is that when I approached the table the floor moved strangely under my feet producing a subtle sound, as if I had walked on an unstable point, it gave me the idea that it wasn't a normal floor at that point, in a place like that I didn't expect it, but it's just a detail. I had a double-creamed risotto with prawns and broccoli and it was divine, a combination of strong, acidic flavors (given by the presence of lemon in my opinion) and delicate flavors from the broccoli. One bite led to another, my compliments to the chef!. Excellent and never intrusive service, very quiet and peaceful atmosphere as expected in a place like this. Excellent experience.

What an incredible surprise!…nestled in the small streets of Pontedera, La Polveriera is a place of choice: the dishes are surprising in their composition, the origins of the ingredients are surprising! The staff is of an excellent standard and knows how to highlight the dishes. The atmosphere is neat, the decoration is tasteful. I highly recommend this address.

Bellissima atmosfera. Servizio impeccabile, due giovani maschio e femmina perfetti. Le entrée di benvenuto... uno spettacolo visivo olfattivo e gustativo. suggeriscono tre menù a base carne, a base pesce o misto ma, come abbiamo optato noi, abbiamo scelto liberamente. Impiattamento di classe e ottima cottura e il mix di sapori perfetto. Ottima esperienza. Prezzi in linea con la qualità.

Cena di Capodanno impeccabile. Veramente ottimo e particolare il cibo. Più che una cena una vera e proria esperienza di abbinamento di sapori. Location carinissima. Dettagli curati fin nei particolari. Da ripetere e consigliare. Eravamo in 4 e siamo stati molto bene.

5 stars are very few... We are My boyfriend and I went last night to celebrate our anniversary. Super welcoming and romantic environment, impeccable service, very particular but delicious food. Compliments to the super friendly waiters who explained everything they brought us. I recommend it if you like fruity wine, mango and passion fruit. We will definitely be back.

Extremely welcoming place, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Innovative menu with an eye to tradition. Various possibilities of choice between meat and fish. Warmly recommended.
