La Piazzetta In Firenze

Be careful where you leave your jackets! Bring them to your table or nearby, and don't let the waiters tell you to leave them on the coat rack at the entrance because my companion exchanged a new Canadian jacket for a Bata women's jacket. I understand it was a mistake, but whoever took the jacket kept it (and I believe them!). Since the waiters explicitly asked us not to bring the jacket to the table, I expected some acknowledgement of responsibility from the restaurant. Everything else about the food was fine.

Our favorite "canteen" in Florence! Throughout our stay, this restaurant became our go-to spot. Located practically steps from our hotel, we dined there almost every night, allowing us to sample a large part of the menu. It's a reliable, welcoming place with consistently high quality. What we loved: - The Pizzas: Absolutely excellent with a thin and perfectly crispy crust. The pizza with fresh burrata and arugula is a pure delight, visually stunning and very generous. The classic Margherita and the mushroom and ham pizza are equally delicious. - The Pastas: Authentic cuisine. We particularly recommend the ravioli with ragù (meat sauce), which are flavorful and comforting, as well as the simple yet perfectly executed spaghetti. - The Desserts: Don't leave without trying the panna cotta with red berries for a refreshing touch. The sweet chocolate pastry is also a delightful surprise. (Tip: avoid the tiramisu; the sponge isn't soaked enough and the cream isn't set...) The setting is typical of an Italian trattoria with its exposed beams and open kitchen where you can watch the chef working at the pizza oven and rotisserie. The welcome is always friendly, even when the restaurant is full. In short: Whether for a quick pizza or a full dinner, La Piazzetta is a sure bet in Florence. Unbeatable value for money in the neighborhood!

Varied and very inviting menu Everything was delicious

A very quick dinner because I was tired, but the chicken cut was very tender. The meat display is remarkable and promising! Specializing in porcini mushrooms.

A fabulous pizza and the same goes for the courgette flan

After 4 days traveling through Italy, I can assure you that it is the best place I have eaten on the trip, top pizza, top dough, and the pasta is also super good, and the price is more than reasonable.
