La Pergoletta In Pisa

Dinner with work colleagues. Very good food; we tried both fish and meat. The Florentine steak was cooked to perfection. Prices were average for a high-end restaurant. Excellent experience.

A good restaurant, but unfortunately, the atmosphere is cold and the waiters are unhelpful. We had the Florentine steak, which is what we came for. An appetizer, plus wine and dessert. The dishes were tasty, but nothing more. An appetizer for the price of a main course was completely disappointing in presentation, presentation, and taste. The service was odd: Water was brought, but not poured into glasses. Bread was brought, but no olive oil. Appetizers were brought, but they placed the dish at the end of the table on my side. My husband couldn't reach it. Wine was poured once and then not again—self-service. No one asked whether I liked the wine the waiter selected. The meat was brought on a serving trolley, from which the waiter serves by default. However, there was no service. There were some cloudy spots on the plates. I asked for a local Pisan wine, but the waiter insisted on wines from other regions. The Pisan selection was much larger. Ultimately, the wine was average and not local. The restaurant seems nice, the tablecloths are white, and the meat is delicious, but the actual atmosphere and overall impression are off-putting. I can't recommend it. We definitely won't be returning.

It remains one of Pisa's most interesting offerings, offering a good value for the quality of the food. The pergola dining area is highly charming and evocative. Table service is not always up to par, depending on the waiter. Mrs. Daniela's management brings a strong identity and lustre to the mission and management of this historic establishment.

A lovely place with attentive and friendly staff. Prices are fairly reasonable. The dishes are beautiful, tasty, and some have interesting pairings.

The atmosphere wasn’t very welcoming at first, but our waiter was such a nice guy. He kept saying, ‘as long as the lady is happy, the man will be happy too,’ which made us smile. 😅 We had a very good Chablis, along with calamari and steak. For dessert, we asked for strawberries with amaretto and ice cream — the waiter even went searching in the kitchen to try and make it happen, but in the end we just had amaretto. He also made a show of shaking the bottle while pouring, making sure I was happy with the wine after tasting. The steak itself was pretty standard. We ordered potatoes and vegetables on the side — the potatoes were fine, while the vegetables with olive oil were surprisingly tasty.

Fantastic food, excellent location, extremely welcoming, friendly staff, very knowledgeable about both food and wine. Daniela, the owner, is a wonderful, friendly woman. I'll be back soon because these restaurants are unique. ❤️

We had dinner at this wonderful restaurant one evening while passing through Pisa. Although the restaurant mainly serves fish, we opted for the meat, which I must say was simply excellent. We ordered a first course, a salad, and a 1kg Florentine steak served with mixed vegetables and baked potatoes, which easily accommodates two. To finish, a bottle of water, a glass of wine, and a coffee. Everything was perfect, complemented by a pleasant atmosphere.

Great food, value for money, definitely recommend

Il posto è infinitamente carino e si mangia bene. Molto buoni gli antipasti, ottimo servizio, cucina curata e attenta.

Abbiamo organizzato alla Pergoletta una cena delle nostre associazioni culturali. Eravamo una sessantina. Il menù è stato eccezionale e il servizio impeccabile, con camerieri esperti e gentilissimi. La responsabile di sala, Tatiana, è stata veramente molto disponibile, per venire incontro a ogni nostra esigenza.
