Delicious food, lovely atmosphere. Loved the pastas and desserts. We have already returned as liked it so much.

A lovely little restaurant just outside Alberobello. Everything was delicious. The lamb chops were AMAZING!! The wine was good (a house rosé). The service was a bit sketchy, but all in all, it's undoubtedly a lovely place with excellent food. Thanks for everything.

We had dinner last night. The place is quaint and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. The wait time was reasonable, the food was excellent, with generous portions, and the house red wine was delicious. The value for money was more than fair. The only flaw: the lady at the cash register (perhaps the owner) argued with a waiter right in front of us because he'd forgotten to include the two post-dinner coffees (as if two euros would be the end of the world). She could have offered them to us afterward, since, as is often the case in other places, we weren't offered a house liqueur or limoncello. Even when we were outside, the lady kept asking about the lack of dessert (which we hadn't ordered). Compared to the delicious dinner, this may seem like a trivial matter, but it's these little touches that make all the difference! Another flaw: the valet outside who has to pay for the restaurant's parking!!!!

Fantastic ricotta with honey and figs, orecchiette with turnip tops, ravioli with stracciatella, all fascinating flavors of Puglia, like the characteristic trulli room room and then a large environment. We recommend it.

I had both lunch and dinner there. The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the place was truly beautiful. I can honestly say it made my holiday in Alberobello perfect.

Fuimos dos noches seguidas que era tan bueno. Los aperitivos eran enormes y fáciles de compartir entre dos personas con algo de sobra (cosa que no hicimos porque era genial). El servicio fue atento y la tranquila sala Trulli en la que nos sentamos solo tenía tres mesas. Hizo la experiencia aún mejor. Asegúrese de pedir una mesa en la pequeña sala Trulli.

Durante un viaggio ad Alberobello abbiamo potuto apprezzare la cucina de La nicchia, dopo aver letto delle buone recensioni. La mia esperienza è stata straordinaria, dall'accoglienza al servizio ma soprattutto il cibo. Bombette strepitose e braciole squisite come mai provate, oltre all'antipasto e il benvenuto con olive, focaccine, tarallini e crudité. Complimenti a tutto lo staff e grazie per regalarci queste esperienze positive. Torneremo senz'altro.
