La Moretta In Roma

Spectacular lunch with Carbonara ravioli and delicious fettuccine

On a previous visit to Rome I dined solo at Moretta as my wife was visiting friends in Venice. I enjoyed it so much I said to my wife that we must both eat there as it was so good. A couple of nights ago we decided to do so. A friendly, genuine welcome and good service. We began with a shared starter of pasta with mussels that came in a delicious sauce. For my main I had straciatelli di manzo which is a favourite of mine. I can honestly say that this was the best that I have ever had. Rich and gutsy. My wife enjoyed her funghi porcini and friggitelli so much that I was only allowed a small sample Unfortunately, we leave Rome tomorrow so cannot eat at Moretta again but we are already looking forward to doing so on our next visit to Rome in September.

Very nice place, good location and gentilissima service. I came to this restaurant because my Airbnb don’t reply me, I have no place to stay suddenly, so I order something (it’s amazing, surprised me) the boss/stuff helped to find a new place, the food and drinks also very well. I recommend to my every friend in Rome and I will come back again definitely ❤️

La Moretta is a little jewel of a local restaurant: it has everything from a warm welcome to excellent food and wine. I don't eat meat, and I had exceptional food. We are looking forward to eating here again on our next visit to Rome. Highly recommended.

Small restaurant where you can eat not like a tourist in Rome. The staff is young and very friendly in a nice and quiet area of ​​Rome

The pasta dishes were great… we took Ravioli and cacio & pepe and it was so tasty and the portion was just about right. Dont expect The ambient outside to be great, as they were doing some digging outside, rather book indoors.

Everything was super fresh, delicious and the waiter was so kind and sweet! A true gem!

Great atmosphere, dishes on the menu, and special dishes. The staff was very attentive and prompt. The carbonara was the best I've had in Rome. We followed their advice and ordered pasta with duck ragu, and it was very, very good. For dessert, the tiramisu was also very good! We'll be back on our next visit!

Wir wollten nur eine Tasse Kaffee und einen Wein trinken. Das Servicepersonal war super freundlich und sehr nett. Der Wein war süffig. Blöderweise vergaßen wir einen Rucksack, sie haben ihn gefunden und für uns aufgehoben. Vielen, vielen Dank an das Team. Weil ich Hunger hatte und die Küche geschlossen hatte, bekam ich auf Nachfrage Brot, Olivenöl und Salz. Ein Hochgenuss. Das Brot war super und das etruskische Olivenöl sagenhaft. Manchmal sind die einfachen Dinge die Besten.
