I highly recommend the steak! It's the best steak I've ever had! ! It's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, very juicy, fresh, and full of hemoglobin. The Tuscan soup is also delicious. The portion is also very large, and the price-performance ratio is very high. There is no service charge, but the store manager is very nice and will care whether the food suits your taste. I like this store very much! Recommended!!!

Amazing Tuscan charcuterie board, not too salty and genuine. Bruschetta was perfect, great Olive oil and delicious bread. A special mention to Jayda (sorry if the name is misspelled) very professional and attentive.

I had good memories but we were disappointed. Very modest quality food, risotto ready in too little time to be expressed, poor house wine. It's a shame, the atmosphere is nice, but it has become just touristy.

Little gem in Tuscany!
The Osteria La Mescita was a really great discovery for us. The food was simply delicious - especially the homemade gnocchi with pesto was wonderfully aromatic and cooked to perfection. The mixed crostini were super varied, with a strong taste and great ingredients. The salmon with ricotta on salad was not only a visual highlight, but also very fine and balanced in terms of taste.
The service was warm, attentive and very personable - you can tell that people work here with passion. The location itself is rustic and charming, with an authentic old atmosphere that fits perfectly with Tuscan cuisine.

Tra i vicoli del centro,abbiamo scovato questa osteria storica dal 1902 dove ad accoglierci c’era il Sign Pietro che ci ha fatto subito accomodare in una sala piena di bottiglie di vino arredata il modo spartano,abbiamo assaggiato un tagliere di salumi molto buoni,tortellini con un ragù pieno di sapore e una tagliata con patate a forno,il tutto accompagnato da un buon rosso locale,prezzi un po’ alti rispetto alle altre osterie ma vale la pena assaporare questi piatti che profumano di Toscana.
