07/01/2026: Discovered by chance, returning home after the holidays in early January. Truly hospitable, the service was prompt and courteous, and the food was excellent. Mrs. Daniela told us the story of her ancestors and the pasta factory they opened in the late 1800s. I must mention the ricotta and spinach tortelli she made, which are without a doubt the best I've ever tasted, with a delicate ragù. We took some portions home, which I ate again today, finding them superb. The ribollita soup, the lemon veal cutlet, the baked potatoes, and the bruschetta and crostini as appetizers were delicious. Unfortunately, I didn't try the wine because I had to drive. The price was fair. If I may say so, this cuisine certainly reflects passion and a heartfelt craft, and believe me, the result shows. I highly recommend it.

Maremmana Restaurant at Conti di San Bonifacio Wine Resort

26/08/2025: Stunning location, meticulously maintained and surrounded by nature, a relaxing atmosphere, and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. As for the food, the charcuterie and cheese platter was among the best I've ever had, and the wine was excellent, too.
31/07/2025: This restaurant is located on the estate of the Conti di San Bonifacio Wine Resort in Casteano, a hamlet of Gavorrano (GR). A beautiful setting, with a guaranteed view—we watched the sun set over the hills—the attention to detail is evident. Dining is al fresco in the park, on a lush green lawn, with soft lighting and excellent lounge music in the background. The large, perfectly preserved stone farmhouse is equipped with every comfort, spacious, designer rooms, a guest pool, and a spa. We only dined here, but a stay here must be truly unforgettable. We were greeted with prosecco and tuna tartare as a welcome appetizer. For appetizers, we chose sea bass carpaccio with pink peppercorns and burrata, and anchovies with butter and crostini. For wine, a bottle of Pinot Grigio delle Venezie produced by another estate owned by the Conti. A first course of shrimp pici and mussel paccheri won us over, followed by a Livorno-style amberjack fillet for two to share, followed by coffee and a stroll in the park to round out the romantic evening. An experience everyone should have.
