The food was delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. The meat was especially recommended; both the steak tartare and the tagliata di manzo were delicious.

The food was delicious, but it took a long time to arrive. We had to wait a long time for the waiter to take our order because he was so preoccupied with a man, even though we kept raising our hands for him to come closer.

Fantastic service and incredible food. So good after we found it for lunch on the first day of our trip we went back the next 2 days to try more from their menu. Also one of the rare restaurants where all allergens are mentioned up front on their menu.

Service was really good from the waiter. Really chatty and attentive. I ordered some steak and it was cooked just the way I asked for it. Really enjoyed the meat and the food. The prices are on the more expensive side. It may be not the restaurants that the locals go to, but you will get some decent food from here and will be treated well.

03/03/2025: What does it mean to eat at your home, even though you are in the center of Florence? It means Giova. Homemade and excellent culinary experience, typical dishes of excellent quality and abundant quantities, certainly above the Florentine average. The cost of a meal is below many trattorias in the city, an incredible value for money! The location deserves respect, being a fairly small place, it brings you back to a welcoming atmosphere and the owners, together with those who work WITH them (and not FOR them, big difference), make the stay pleasant for all diners.
24/02/2025: Easy-going restaurant, like those of the past, fair prices and good dishes. The guy who served us was super! Advised!
