This is a real gem, just steps from Porta a Prato. They serve both meat and fish and have created four different, very affordable menus. We tried the grill menu for €37 per person, which included Pici with Chianina ragù, a huge mixed grill, and a bottle of Morellino di Scansano (for two). We also tried the fish menu for €40 per person. They serve a plate of spaghetti allo scoglio, sea bream all'isolana with baked potatoes, and a bottle of Falanghina. Both menus include water and coffee with a cover charge. The dishes were very generous and truly delicious. We highly recommend it.

27/06/2026: I stumbled upon this place for dinner on my last night in Florence. It was a quiet, pleasant-looking spot. Ingrid served me; she was lovely and very kind. She also speaks Spanish, which made things very easy for me. The food was delicious. I ordered a pasta dish, which was very generous. When I asked Ingrid about the size of the desserts, she said she could make them a little smaller—just enough for me to finish. I ordered tiramisu, and it was one of the best things I've had in a long time. Very light and creamy, yet with a strong flavor. Not at all cloying.
