We just visited La Mareggiata. Andrea and his mother welcomed us. They were helpful, accommodating our children, and gave us advice on the menu. Everything was excellent, from the simple pasta with sauce to the fish appetizer and the first courses. The bill reflected the quality. We'll be back and recommend it.

Abundance, quality, affordability. One of the few places in Ortigia that can truly boast the luxury of being described with these adjectives. The location certainly isn't the best, but what's the point of having a sea view if you can already taste it on your plate?

Spectacular restaurant, incredibly kind owners, and amazing food on a beautiful street in Ortigia, a jewel of an island. We ate wonderfully. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I discovered this place almost by chance and immediately fell in love. The atmosphere is welcoming, with attention to detail, yet never pretentious. The staff is friendly, cheerful, and always available to offer advice. The dishes are a real surprise: fresh ingredients, perfect pairings, and generous portions. Each course is carefully prepared, both in taste and presentation. The value is excellent, and you can sense the passion in the kitchen. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine and satisfying experience.

01/02/2026: Aside from the heat (but unfortunately that's subjective), everything was perfect, from the food to the service. The appetizers, first courses, and second courses were delicious and plentiful, with the option of second helpings, and the staff was courteous, helpful, and professional. The local wine was good (which isn't always the case), and the beers I ordered off the menu were free (another truly rare thing). In conclusion: 1) The 5 stars are well deserved. 2) Keep up the good work, you're on the right track. 3) We'll see you again soon, very soon.
09/01/2026: Excellent products...tasty pizza and pizzoli, excellent dough! The staff is helpful, friendly, and attentive to customer needs. I promise I'll return to try other dishes on the menu. I highly recommend it.
