We have been to this little restaurant in the center of Ortigia for dinner several times. Excellent quality fish, always fresh, and generous portions. Fast and efficient service, the guys who serve you are very kind and give excellent advice on the dishes. Worth a try if you pass through these parts.

At the end of an afternoon spent visiting the island of Ortigia it was time for dinner but it was late to go back to eat in Catania.
So we started looking for a place that wasn't too touristy where we could have dinner, choosing typical things and without spending a fortune... after some research we chose this place where we ate: trofie alla norma, troccoli alla siracusana, swordfish alla mareggiata, caponata and dessert.
First, second and side dishes (super caponata!) were really good while the dessert was a little disappointing.
I recommend the place.

Local in the center of Ortigia a few steps from the Duomo. Generous portions and excellent quality. Courtesy and availability of the owner and her daughter. I always come back very willingly. Super recommended.

Petit restaurant familiale excellent. Nous y avons mangés trois soir de suite et a chaque fois c’était un régal. Fruit de mer frais et tres bon et les pates sont excellentes. Andrea et sa maman sont hyper accueillant et c’est un vrai plus. Le rapport qualité prix est imbattable sur ortigia.
Je ne comprends pas certains avis négatif, et surtout l’interêt d’écrire ce genre de choses sans mettre de photos ??
Allez voir par vous même, je pense que c’est la meilleur façon de vous faire un avis.

Location suggestiva all’ingresso di Ortigia, accanto alla scalinata del collegio dei Gesuiti.
Da non perdere Troccoli e caponata.
Le mandorle e la menta sulla caponata un tocco di gusto in più
Cibo a km zero, fresco e genuino, personale gentile.
