I returned for the 3rd time, the location was really beautiful and well-kept. The service was excellent, the staff were kind and polite, it's a shame that this time I ate an octopus that was too hard but the rest was delicious like every time I've been there. Absolutely 👍

L'Osteria

25/12/2023: Food was excellent, the wife of the owner will occasionally burst out into opera and the customer service was top notch! Such a beautiful setting to have an evening meal.
08/12/2023: Small osteria in the middle of Barga. Was very good for lunch - we ate simply having the salicce e fagioli and my wife had zuppa minestrone while we shared a side of greens (rabbe?). Everything was simple and delicious and reasonably priced. They seemed used to dealing with tourists, kind of surprising given how Barga is not on the main tourist paths.

02/04/2024: Compliments to the restaurant and the service Simple, well-made dishes from traditional Tuscan cuisine are offered An attentive and fast service Great courtesy and an elegant and fresh environment The bill was a surprise: absolutely convenient We will definitely be back Returned on Easter Monday 2024, and looks much changed The house appetizer, which was made up of many different tastings and specialties, is reduced to a measly small plate, bland, but still at €20 A side dish of cooked vegetables from the day before and unfriendly service The prices have remained the same, but the quality has deteriorated a lot I would have preferred to pay double but find the same quality as before I don't know what happened, but it was definitely a disappointment, as Beppino in Pietrasanta has always been our favorite restaurant when going to Forte dei Marmi
