What can I say, the place is beautiful, the staff and owner very courteous and welcoming. Let's move on to the food, we had a platter of very good cured meats, amazing agnolotti with roast sauce, and finally, His Majesty the Bagna Caoda, simply divine, very good desserts, and a nice Barolo which went down like a pleasure. Our next time in Turin, we will definitely come back to visit you.

We came across this restaurant partly by chance, partly attracted by its menu! The interior is very well-kept, the environment is small but so well-arranged that between the various tables you don't disturb each other, indeed everything is even more welcoming and familiar.
The girl who served us at the table was uncommonly kind, friendly and sunny! She was able to advise us best, both in the typical dishes and in the portions. We had raw fassona battuta with mustard and bagna cauda (special) as an appetizer, boiled meat with sauces and a braised fassona in Barolo with exquisite baked potatoes. To accompany obviously an EXCELLENT house wine and to finish a spectacular tarte tatin.
The owner is very kind and very nice, he delighted us with the history of his family and the culinary traditions handed down by his grandmother! What can I say, a 360° experience between cuisine and good company!
More than excellent value for money, you leave the table satisfied, with a full stomach and knowing that you have paid what is right! Surely when we are passing through Turin again we will return to this super little restaurant!

An authentic experience in the heart of Turin
I had the pleasure of dining at La Piola Sabauda and I can say without hesitation that it is one of the best gastronomic experiences you can find in Turin. Located a few steps from Piazza San Carlo, the restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for those who want to immerse themselves in Piedmontese tradition.
The menu is a tribute to local cuisine, with dishes prepared with high quality ingredients. I tasted the veal with tuna sauce, delicate and tasty, and the agnolotti with white ragù, simply exceptional. As a second course, the braised fassona in Barolo melted in the mouth, perfectly accompanied by a glass of Nebbiolo recommended by the staff.
The service was impeccable: attentive, professional and never intrusive. Even though the place was full, the waiting times were fair and the staff was always available to recommend dishes and wine pairings.
To conclude, I couldn't help but try the bunet, a typical Piedmontese dessert that ended a perfect dinner in style.
I highly recommend La Piola Sabauda to anyone who wants to live an authentic experience and enjoy true Piedmontese cuisine in a familiar and refined environment. Booking in advance is a must, given the high demand!

This restaurant is truly unique. An extraordinary experience: if you want to immerse yourself in the authentic flavors of the Piedmontese tradition, but with a chic and elegant touch, this is the perfect place for you. Each dish tells a story, respecting tradition but taking care of every detail.
The price is high—a first course costs €16—but I assure you that the experience is worth every penny. The atmosphere is magical: a perfect balance between the charm of an ancient place and contemporary design details. The exposed bottles of wine warm the environment, while the lights, designed with extreme care, create an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere.
I was enchanted by the paintings that tell the story of this restaurant and the couple who made it special. A place that excites, an experience to live. We will definitely return to this corner of wonder in the heart of Turin.

A perfect, delicious lunch. Appetizer: brains and fried artichokes. Crunchy, fragrant, delicious.
Second mixed boiled meat with sauces (green and red sauce, mustard, mustard, honey and walnuts, horseradish, compote). A feast for the palate.
Glass of Nebbiolo.
Dessert: bunet. As it should be. Enjoyable.
Coffee (the coffee is also delicious) and juniper ratafià. A worthy conclusion to a memorable lunch.
Reservations are recommended as there are not many places at the table.
