During our stay at the beautiful Pianella Resort, we dined at La Lupa Restaurant one evening – and it was simply unforgettable. The ambiance in the caves is breathtaking and unique, the food was outstanding, and the service was warm and attentive. Every moment was a delight.

Highly recommended in Matera. We had the set menu, not exactly cheap, but all the dishes were delicious. A nice wine list. The staff were also very friendly.

Dinner was nothing short of perfect. Portions were just right for trying multiple dishes, and the peperone crusco (perhaps because it was my first time eating it) was unforgettable. We had the podolico beef carpaccio, the cheek, and the capocollo. Everything was delicious, and a special mention for the cheek, which was truly interesting—lovely, tender, and truly flavorful. It was accompanied by zucchini with lemon, which contrasted perfectly with the cheek. The dessert was also excellent: panna cotta with figs. The wine list was also interesting, with many local selections. Highly recommended; not cheap, but definitely worth it. Excellent, attentive, and fast service.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant in Matera and I can't say enough good things about it. The dishes are truly delicious, prepared with great care and using quality ingredients. The owner, Antonella, is a wonderful person: welcoming, kind, and attentive to every detail, she manages to make every guest feel at home. The location is splendid, in an enchanting setting that enhances the experience even more. Without a doubt, the best restaurant I've been to in recent memory. Highly recommended!

Ristorante nel centro dei sassi di Matera, noi abbiamo mangiato all’interno seguendo una scala che conduce ad un locale cinema dove vengono proiettati spezzoni di film girati a Matera. Veramente originale in più il cibo è veramente ottimo ed il personale oltre che gentile e professionale è molto simpatico. Ristorante da provare!
