La Locanda delle Due Suocere In Novara

A place that already has many reviews and wide recognition, I'd say everything is fully confirmed. Interesting menu with original dishes: today I tried the boneless cockerel with mushrooms. Amaretti, etc., excellent giardiniera, and an excellent veal with tuna sauce. I always drink Vespolina here... I know it's not the best, but for me, a foreigner, it tastes of the Novara hills.

A quaint and very popular place locally. Excellent for business lunches. Fast but efficient service.

Yesterday I was at this "Locanda," and so I invite everyone reading this to try it. I tried a lovely dish of porcini mushroom rice, which was fabulous. My wife had roast pork with porcini mushrooms, and finally... dessert!!! A Bunet!!! It's one of those desserts that should be sucked down in one bite, but there was only one on the plate!!! Everything was truly excellent!!!!!!

I had a great time at this restaurant. The food was excellent. I had the raspberry risotto, which was excellent—a wonderful blend of flavors. The waiters were very kind and helpful. I also tried the platter, which was delicious. If you want to eat well in a traditional setting, this is the place to go.

Nel panorama di Novara come spesso accade, mi affido a Tripadvisor per un consiglio sulla cena. Mi ispira questa osteria e mi fido ai voti dei commensali. Come quartiere non è dei migliori, molti “kebabbari” e pizzerie a taglio con extracomunitari ma non mi faccio intimidire ed entro. La sala esterna ha già dei colleghi e ci sediamo. Ci portano un assaggio di focaccia, buona; io scelgo antipasto alla Novarese che comprende 2 tipi di salami morbidi, 2 tipi di zola, cipollotti agrodolce e miele e mandorle per i formaggi, molto buoni! Proseguo con i “plin” delicati e gustosi. Termino con un semifreddo all’amaretto tipico delle Langhe, piacevole! Mio collega opta per plin, maialino in forno con zucchine e fragole con gelato; 2 acque, 2 calici di Barolo, 2 amari ed 1 caffè per 108€! Menomale non ci siamo fatti demoralizzare dal quartiere perché dentro si apre un altro mondo fatto di cura e ottimi prodotti. Consiglio vivamente!

Non conoscendo ne luogo ne la locanda ci siamo trovati di fronte a un ottimo menu, ottimo servizio e un ottimo risultato. Complimenti. Quando torneremo a Novara verremo a trovarvi.
