It's truly an old port. Even though the name on the outside says "Ristorante Trota Vagabonda." If you're there for the first time, you might be a bit perplexed. Afterward, you ask for information inside, and the location is indeed Al Vecchio Porto.
The servings are very generous and of good quality. Perhaps use a little less oil for the black ravioli. The desserts are quite good. The plating could be improved...like the sorbet balls. I would bring the wine corked, not opened. We didn't ask if they had a wine list. Our mistake. On the other hand, we had a good time; the wait staff was very kind and professional. We'll be back.

Company dinner, a fixed menu of meat or fish, all inclusive, for €28. We had a lovely evening. There was an appetizer for every four people, then they brought a tray of first and second courses (I even had seconds). One thing the group complained about was the potatoes... too few... you can never have enough potatoes 🤪
Water, wine, and bread rolls, plus 4/5 flavors of sorbet.

I was truly impressed by this restaurant. The seafood is delicious, perfectly cooked, and the flavors speak for themselves. You can immediately taste that everything is incredibly fresh, from the ingredients to the dishes served.
The first courses are plentiful and very tasty, with a variety of seafood and meat!
The service was fast and attentive, without ever being intrusive. Within minutes, we had our dishes, carefully prepared and presented with great professionalism.
A place that combines quality, freshness, and speed. The natural setting overlooking the Ticino River is superb... It's hard to ask for more! I'll definitely be back.

The food is always good! Stop by for dinner, good selection of meat and fish.
If I may make a comment, the appetizers are a bit monotonous if you go there for the third time—that is, always the same thing, well done but could use a bit of variety. Still, it's worth going every now and then!

I had lunch there on a Saturday with my dad. Excellent ingredients, generous portions, and a very relaxing atmosphere. The view was wonderful, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the quality and price were excellent! I highly recommend it.

Knowledgeable staff, delicious meat and fish dishes, homemade pasta, and seasonal produce in a location overlooking the Ticino River. Overall, the food is good and plentiful, with a picture-perfect view. I'll be back.

Excellent restaurant, good and plentiful dishes, informal but well-executed service, fair prices, beautiful location, stunning views of the Ticino River, convenient parking with plenty of spaces.
The only downside is the lack of a paper menu. The waitress told us the menu verbally, and she was very good at explaining everything, but that way you don't know the cost of the dishes you're ordering until it's time to pay the bill.
We'll definitely be back.
