Suggestive atmosphere, really friendly staff, prepared good food and really competitive prices. In short, a nice lunch immersed in a spectacular atmosphere.

Suggestive location in front of the Dozza castle near Imola, a beautiful medieval village. After the starters, the first courses were served after 2.30 minutes with small portions, the meat left a lot to be desired. The biggest problem was the long wait, as far as I'm concerned this should be AVOID!!!!!!!!

Restaurant in a splendid position, had lunch al fresco under the lime trees with a view of the fortress, I also ate well but with a huge disappointment at the end, I ordered the balanzoni with ragù, very good but in my opinion they were not balanzoni which I got stuffed with mortadella , these were filled with ricotta and spinach, however better in the heat it was. For the second course, the trio of cheeses with caramelized figs and onions and piadine, due to the heat I ate less than half so I asked for a parcel to take home... in the evening I opened it anxiously and there were only the cheeses hard cheeses and piadinas... now I understand that squaqquerone is out of the fridge... maybe not... but why, why!!! don't put the two jams?! Super disappointed!!!

Very nice place and it's even nicer to eat under the tree and in front of the fortress.
Very kind and friendly staff.
The portions, for the price, are a little small but the quality is excellent 😋!
The nettle tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms seemed more like a dish of porcini mushrooms with tagliatelle due to the high quantity and it was a welcome surprise 😍...a little more pasta wouldn't have been bad 🤗!
Unfortunately for them, there weren't many people but for me it was total relaxation!
I highly recommend it 😀!

Trattoria restaurant located right on the small square in front of the Rocca. Traditional local dishes. Courtesy and professionalism of the owner. 3 internal rooms, one of which has a priceless view of the hills. A small room with a glass window overlooking the Rocca. Large outdoor area. Worth a stop. The village of Dozza is also worth a visit.

Leaving the visit to the fortress we opted to stop for dinner in this restaurant. We had dinner outside. All the staff were kind and attentive. Well cooked dishes, very good quality of products. We took herb tortellini with confit tomatoes and squacquerone, passatelli with tomato, a cut to eat in two (they very kindly brought it already divided into two plates without us asking them) gratin tomatoes, sweet della rocca and fried cream, a quarter of San Giovese, sparkling water and two coffees 73 euros. We left the table full but not "gorged".
The dishes all well digested. It's a place I would happily return to. I recommend it
