I expected good service but they outdid themselves! All the fish from the starter to the second course of the New Year's Day lunch was delicious, plentiful and fresh. The environment is not very large but well organised. The staff very kind. The fixed menu did not disappoint me: many raw and cooked appetizers, two excellent half-first courses, two well-seasoned and served second courses, sorbet, dip, mix of fresh fruit, panettone, water, wine, coffee and digestive. I and the other 10 diners at my table were satisfied.

A slightly secluded location, between S. Giovanni and Piazza Re di Roma for a restaurant with a fish-based menu. The starters were above expectations, otherwise a decent value for money. Very friendly staff and short waiting times.

Since I had to stay at home this summer, I let myself be pampered with the delights of the Blue Grotto. Every time I go there it gives me the impression of being at the seaside.

La Grotta Azzurra is a historic fish restaurant in the San Giovanni area which, despite having changed management, has managed to maintain its renowned quality. Located at street level, the restaurant continues to be a point of reference for fish lovers. The menu offers a wide choice of fish-based dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and served with care. Despite the change of management, prices have remained affordable, making the restaurant accessible to all. The only negative aspect (but I don't know if it was a coincidence) is that the place is too crowded and there are many tables arranged close together; this can make the environment a little too chaotic. However, the overall experience remains very good and I think I will return. Recommended for those looking for good fish cuisine at reasonable prices.

Excellent fish restaurant, with very generous dishes, fresh fish, fast service. I suggest booking. Prices appropriate for a rich fish menu Edit: year after year, I can only renew my satisfaction: everything is perfect!

I have been going there for at least 20 years, even with a change of management the trend has always remained the same, of a good standard. I recommend the "linguine allo scoglio" to everyone. Go there and you won't regret it.
