We chose to eat there because of the menu. I was afraid that, given the location, it would be touristy and mediocre, but that was certainly not the case. We ate there again the very next evening. They have a delicious meat and cheese platter for starters, lamb chops (abbacchio), bistecca, and prosciutto e melone! The house wine was fine. The service was friendly too. We will definitely go again! ^-^

The food was exquisite and the staff were incredibly friendly; we would definitely recommend it and will definitely return here on our next visit to Rome.

Just steps from the Colosseum. The carbonara was good, but average. The Cacio e Pepe was truly top-notch; good things are best appreciated in their simplicity.

I've been eating there since 2000. One of the best places to eat in Rome. Very affordable and always satisfying. The food is simple, but very good. A short menu with a great selection of traditional dishes. Extremely friendly service. I recommend the tripe alla romana and pasta e vongole veraci. Unbeatable value for money.
