La Grotta Azzurra In Taormina

We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking and were seated right away. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly, offering thoughtful recommendations and checking in often to make sure we were enjoying everything. We ordered the carbonara and the gnocchi bolognese—both dishes tasted fresh and were full of flavor. It was a great experience overall, and we’d definitely come back.

good food but too little in quantity

Great food, would really recommend the Fish Soup, although the name doesn’t do it justice, nicely cooked fish wonderfully arranged in a broth, with frite sized croutons. Also serves great pasta and fresh Fish of the day. Service and house wine and delicious dessert make a great accompaniment.

While on holiday in Sicily with my wife and friends, we stumbled upon this incredible restaurant in Taormina—and it ended up being one of the best dining experiences of our entire trip. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and authentic. The staff made us feel right at home, offering helpful suggestions and genuinely making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. We ordered the risotto, and let me just say—it's the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I was so impressed I personally thank the chef. You can tell this is a kitchen led by a top-tier talent. Every dish that came out was clearly made with passion, precision, and heart. The owner was also present that evening, actively engaged and clearly invested in every part of the experience. You could feel how much the place meant to her, and it made the evening even more special. This restaurant is a true gem in Taormina. If you're visiting Sicily, make sure to put this spot at the top of your list—it’s a must-see and a must-taste. Highly recommended!

Paramos aquí para almorzar porque se veía bien y la bienvenida era amable. No nos decepcionó, tuvimos un almuerzo encantador, la ensalada Caprese, Spaghetti a la Vongole estaban deliciosos. Las patatas al Forno era muy bueno! Vale la pena visitarlo.

Disfrutamos de un almuerzo sencillo, pero estaba delicioso. Dos platos de pasta diferentes, uno con lubina, el otro con pez espada. La pasta estaba al dente y abundante con sabor. Un poco caro, sin embargo, esto es Taormina y el turismo gobierna el gallinero.
