La Cozza d'oro In Augusta

We had lunch at the Cozza d’Oro on our visit to Sicily. This is our second trip and again this seafood restaurant gem!! The location atmosphere and food was a 10!! Maurizio Bruno and chef and staple of the Cozza d’Oro Cettina were wonderful! We had a variety of fresh seafood also fried and some delicious pasta and seafood dishes ! Highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta Sicily .

I have been here twice in 2018 & 2025 and I must say that here I felt the most chilled atmosphere. Food is good and has a touch of gourmet to complete each dish. Definitely recommended.

We happened about this lovely establishment one evening after a long day at the vineyard With that said this family restaurant opened their arms and just delighted us for our dinning experience Bruno and mama were just masters of the kitchen and the food tasted amazing. Cannot wait to come back and have amazing seafood again. Was almost like we caught it and cooked it right there 🤤

We decided to go to this restaurant for dinner, and I have to say, we didn't regret it at all. We were served by a kind and very friendly waiter, who recommended the gratin mussels, which I fell in love with; they were truly DELICIOUS. For my first course, I tried the scampi linguine, and honestly, it was spectacular and EXCELLENT! For my second course, the swordfish, which I could taste was fresh and wonderful, and finally, a lemon sorbet. After dinner, the waiter invited us to visit the fishmonger's, where we saw the actual mussels, lobsters, oysters, etc.; the same ones we ate during dinner, so trust me, everything is very fresh! The price was very fair, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and the staff was very helpful. We even met the chef, a person who really puts her heart and soul into cooking. Everything was truly fantastic; we'll be back from Rome to enjoy more delicacies at the "LA COZZA D'ORO" restaurant.

Being from Tampa Florida we know lots about good seafood ! La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta has superb quality of seafood from oysters to mussels to clams and so much more ! We dined at their restaurant and Cettina the head chef along with Maurizio and Bruno were most accommodating helpful and everything was delicious prices were fantastic and location and atmosphere wonderful ! We highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro if you visit beautiful Sicily

We went to dinner at this restaurant and I must say that the fish is good and the girl who served us was very good and friendly.

We had the occasion to dine at the La Cozza d’Oro and it was absolutely delicious!! Best and freshest seafood ever ! The staff was amazing as well as the location !! We had the best fresh oyster and a pasta dish with ricci which is sea urchin and mussels and so much more !! We highly recommend dining at La Cozza d’Oro
