Absolutely stunning stay. Highly recommend! The rooms are clean, beds incredibly comfortable. The location cannot be beat. The staff are friendly and welcoming. What a retreat!

Had a great experience in 2022 but then a terrible experience in 2023. Owner was rude to several in our party. Food had a marked drop off in quality and experience was in a word less than ideal. It was all inclusive and more expensive than the year before instead of ala carte and somehow got less of everything, food, service, and quality. It’s disappointing as we most likely will not return.

La Chiusa was magnificent. Gorgeously restored historical property nestled in their own olive grove in the heart of Val d'Orcio in Tuscany , caring attentive staff, and a young chef creating absolutely delicious new takes on traditional Tuscan classics. We walked around the grounds, did some stargazing, and enjoyed the personal attention and the cooking class. 12/10, 3 thumbs up, 6 stars. Can't recommend it highly enough. We cannot wait to go back.

THE place for a Tuscany vacation. Beautiful everything with Michelin quality restaurant. Look for the Secret Room, you won't be disappointed.

Meraviglioso. Ci siamo trovati lì per caso. Eravamo reduci da un caos frenetico di gente e di auto( Pienza e Montalcino strabordanti di folla) Erano quasi le 14 ma quando abbiamo telefonato per farci riservare un tavolo ci hanno risposto con tanta gentilezza e ci hanno preparato un tavolo all'esterno con una vista mozzafjato. Un'atmosfera magica ...solo il cinguettio degli uccellini ci faceva compagnia. Il cibo squisito preparato cn cura e cn prodotti top. Pane fatto in casa così come la pasta...l'olio di produzione propria...tutto fantastico. Un plauso particolare va a Louren...una ragazza francese tanto cordiale e amorevole che ci ha raccontato i piatti con tanta dolcezza e professionalità. Il tutto condito da un panorama con vista su Montalcino a dir poco spettacolare. Esperienza davvero meravigliosa!

Trovarsi in un luogo magico come questo , dalla vista meravigliosa, e dalla tranquillità assoluta. Servizio impeccabile, ottimo vino, cibi raffinati. Torneremo.

My daughter's wedding at La Chiusa was a dream come true! If you are worried about a language barrier, fear not, as the staff speaks English beautifully and they are attuned to your needs and eager to make your every wish come true. Special thanks go to our on-site coordinator, Francesca, whose warmth, efficiency, and advice were priceless. The setting, the vistas, the food and wine were all delightful and they surpassed our high standards and expectations. If the thought of planning a wedding far from home seems daunting, rest assured that our three day wedding weekend went perfectly according to plan and each and every guest fell in love with Tuscany and the hospitality that was so generously offered. We literally cried when we had to leave this amazing villa and we all made a pact to return soon. Five stars cannot even express our true delight with La Chiusa.
