La Chiusa In Torrita di siena

Warm and helpful staff. Our room was in rustic Tuscany style and comfortable. There is a walking trail passing through vineyards offering nice views of Tuscany rolling hills, and we enjoyed our morning walks there. We enjoyed our daily breakfast, but regrettably, missed out on having dinner at the restaurant because it was fully booked for the evening.

Beautiful setting, unique rooms that began as an olive mill 1300 years ago but have been more recently renovated. Great service from all the staff.

We only wanted to try the restaurant, and we left completely charmed. Excellent food! The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious. The cuisine was refined and delicious. The location is magnificent and very pleasant, and the service was attentive.

We stayed at Lachiusa for four nights, and had dinner at the restaurant, joined a cooking class which became our lunch, had lunch in the olive grove, and had their front desk staff coordinate a wine tasting for us. EVERYTHING was amazing. Their customer service is impeccable, the place was beautiful and relaxing, the cooking class was the best ever-which exceeded my expecations, and the food at restaurant (breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner) was amazing. We are so glad we booked the place, and can't wait to come back, bringing our entire family to repeat the experience. Walking into town was an extra bonus, as well as our day trips out to wineries and montepulicano. If you are considering eating or staying here, I HIGHLY recommend it.

We couldn't get enough and went back to the restaurant. There are two reasons for this: the first, the delicious food, and the second, Laurène and her colleagues, simply fantastic employees who enjoy their work and the service. Wonderful dinner overlooking the valley. Refined cuisine, friendly and professional service, and a lovely setting. I especially recommend the desserts—it's rare to find such good ones in the region. I'm truly happy to see that La Chiusa, a historic Montefollonico institution, continues to exist and offer exceptional gastronomic experiences.

Encontré este pequeño lugar por accidente. Muy “fuera del camino” en las colinas cerca de Montefollonico, pero que gran sorpresa! Gran comida, personal súper amable y vistas espectaculares a través de la campiña toscana. Vale la pena encontrarlo.

Siamo venuti in questo ristorante dopo un ottimo consiglio del bar del posto, il cibo era ottimo, un risotto super e molto particolare. Le ragazze in sala perfette e simpatiche, da consigliare assolutamente. Il prezzo adeguato al servizio e al cibo.
