Located less than a kilometer from the center of Portovenere, La Chiglia restaurant was one of the best surprises of our holiday here. The restaurant is seafront with parking, and the food, service, and friendliness are five-star. If you're in the area and want to eat expertly prepared, fresh fish and more, this is the place for you.

We stopped for a quick spaghetti, we were in a hurry, on November 23rd, almost everything was closed... we ate seafood spaghetti, good, plentiful and well made, excellent trofie with pesto... we didn't try anything else but the dishes we saw passing by seemed well presented and well made... nice location, friendly staff, normal prices... I highly recommend it

I returned to this restaurant because I had fond memories of it, and it was confirmed. I had lunch during the week, out of season, and the fish was incredibly fresh and the dishes spoke volumes.
I will definitely return; it's a must-try in Portovenere.
The Catalana was phenomenal!

We spent around 70 euro for two people included antipasti and secondi. I would recommend the antipasti degustazione, there are about 8-9 tastings, each person cost 20 euro. It taste delicious.
Something that disappointed us was we ordered tuna with caramalised onion as our secondi thats cost 20 euro, server/ order taker should let us know/ advise us that actually the same menu also would be in our antipasti tasting. If we knew we would order something else for our secondi. Food and place are great, service lack of details i would say.

I can only recommend this restaurant where everything was perfect: food, service, decoration, value for money and atmosphere. As a main course I recommend the lobster spaghetti, a real delight 😋

For 4 people we had mussels for two and 4 mixed fried dishes with 2 portions of chips with water and coffee. I have to say it was a DELIGHT, the service was excellent, kind and perfect. Recommended.
