We booked here based on the reviews on Maps; the place is small, so reservations are required. We were truly impressed. The food was excellent, the owner was friendly and helpful, and the place was truly charming. After the owner explained the dishes, we chose two typical Ligurian appetizers, delicious! Then a tuna steak, perfectly cooked. Fair prices, good food, and friendly service. Well done, congratulations!

The place is small, so it's best to book, but it's also welcoming and offers excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back, hopefully soon!

A warm & cosy place that only serve 6-7 tables. Be sure to get a reservation before coming down if not you will be turned away. It is managed by a husband & wife duo. The food is handmade and it’s delicious. All the dishes are specially curated and the outlook is amazing. We tried the tuna on tuna appetiser and also the main course cod fish black risotto and the Nino Di Mare! The portion is smaller so we got another pici duck ragu! Excellent dinner & we are craving for me

A wonderful experience and excellent food at a fair price. We'll be back. The restaurant owner is very polite and kind. He explained the more unusual dishes on the menu to us and showed off his culinary expertise, treating us with respect. Highly recommended.

I went for dinner last night. During the feast of San Giuseppe in La Spezia, it was difficult to find a place to eat. I trusted the reviews on Trip Advisor and made a reservation. It's a nice little place on a central street, but not in a pedestrian area. I confess I wasn't familiar with it, even though the owner told me the restaurant has been open for 13 years. It's very small, with just six tables, and offers a menu of both meat and fish, which is only available on a blackboard in three languages: Italian, English, and French. We opted for a seafood menu: for an appetizer, we had capun magro (very good, with an original presentation) and anchovies marinated in green sauce. For our first course, we tried purple gnocchi with cicada sauce and lemon zest, cod pansotti, and Venere rice topped with creamed cod (Carabaccia risotto); everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and I thought the risotto was amazing! For dessert, we tried the salted caramel semifreddo...worth a try. The house wine was very decent, but there's also a decent selection of bottles, both white and red. We want to return to try the fish main courses, as well as the meat menu, which is equally inviting. The price was truly competitive for what we ate...we didn't spend more than €30 each! The manager offered a complimentary liqueur, who was extremely kind and attentive in explaining the dishes.

Delicious!! Our favorite restaurant in La Spezia. We had the tuna steak and the prawns. The service was incredible. I highly recommend it!

We were both delighted by the quality of the ingredients, the perfect balance of flavors, and the meticulous presentation. Everything was executed flawlessly. The wine was excellent, the explanations clear and engaging, and to top it all off, we were offered a complimentary digestif—a particularly thoughtful touch. A five-star experience, without a single negative comment. We will gladly return.
