Yesterday evening my partner and i came back for the fourth time. The last four summers we came to Barolo to collecte Some great wine and When we do we have at least a lunch of dinner Here. Every time the food is so good again, the real piemontese dishes coocked at a absolute high level for a abnormal good price! Again and again we are amazed by this restaurant! Tip: It is best to make a reservation!

In a place like Barolo, it's easy to encounter tourist traps and ridiculous prices. This place was recommended to us by a local, and it turned out to be a golden recommendation.
The place itself is extremely quaint and traditional, with an outdoor veranda and grape leaves covering an entire wall. They have an excellent selection of traditional dishes, from pasta and risotto to meat dishes and—I imagine depending on the season—even some fish. Our friends were pleasantly surprised by the porcini mushroom risotto. My girlfriend ordered two portions of plin because they were too good to have just one; I, a non-meat-and-dairy eater, had the best gnocchi with tomato sauce of my life. Here's a surprisingly positive point: in the kingdom of meat and cheese, even a vegan can find a suitable dish.
In total, we spent twenty euros each, very reasonable considering the location and the quality of the food, but I should point out that we didn't drink wine, which would understandably increase the price. The bread was free and the water was negligible. No charge for service.
The owner was very nice; he should definitely treat Francesco from Agrilab to a lunch (or even more than one), which (rightly) gives him so much positive publicity.

Perfect dinner at Cantinetta! We started with a typical Piedmontese mixed appetizer, rich and well-prepared, with local products of excellent quality. Each taste told the story of the territory.
For the first course I chose the porcini mushroom risotto: creamy, fragrant, simply unforgettable. My wife ordered the grilled rabbit, tender and tasty, cooked to perfection.
Warm welcome and authentic atmosphere, in a suggestive location in the heart of Barolo. An experience that we recommend and that we hope to repeat soon!

Très jolie terrasse ombragée, accueil et service, très souriants et efficaces.
Les plats sont délicieux : cailles désossées rôties et moelleuses avec petites courgettes croquantes (Il manquait peut-être un peu de jus) que je recommande.

délicieux vin blanc Roero Arneis Le serveur nous a également gentiment conseillé pour un verre de Barolo Délicieux : nous reviendrons.
