Excellent restaurant in the heart of Genoa. Well prepared food, with correct portions. The staff are very friendly and there is a great wine list. The place is nice, maybe a little too noisy, but nothing excessive.

La Cucina Clandestina is a restaurant located in Genoa city centre, easy to reach from via XXV Aprile. The interior design is a very nice mixture of old bricks and modern paintings. The menu offers typical Ligurian food but also some modern/international proposals. The staff is very progressive and prepared. This time I won’t give the full 5 stars because we had to wait quite long time for dessert and the bill (I must say that the place was fully booked) but it was a very nice experience and I recommend this place.

Tuvimos una gran cena en este restaurante de Génova. Buena comida, buen vino, los precios eran razonables. El servicio y el ambiente eran excelentes. Estaba cerca de nuestro hotel y cerca de la catedral.

02/02/2025: A small restaurant out of the way but just up from a creusa in the center of Genoa, it offers excellent cuisine, good wines, excellent service in a cozy and comfortable environment. A constructive note: if profiteroles are on the blackboard with the dishes of the day, at 8.15pm with the restaurant still almost empty the last portion cannot have just gone... it means that you only had one and then you had to remove them from the blackboard. 😊

Caseificio Val d'Aveto

06/02/2025: I have never been to the dairy, but I want to give my review to the yogurt, I can only find it with pistachio, in the shops, in Florence. But it's wonderful. Truly, I have never eaten anything tastier. I have tried them of all types and brands. Nothing to do with this. Excellent quality and fantastic flavour. Thank you. Lisi Debora
