I celebrated my daughter's birthday with some friends. The food is excellent, plentiful and reasonably priced. The place is characteristic. The staff is kind, professional and efficient, very helpful. A heartfelt thank you for the welcome. Recommended.

This place was such a gem. After a long hike, we were starved and very possibly over ordered but everything was SO GOOD we finished most of it and even had leftovers to takeaway. These leftovers were STILL our best meal after 2 days of traveling and we had bib gourmand meals all the way through.

Ci siamo recati a cena per assaporare la cucina locale e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Lo stile è quello tipico della baita di montagna, i piatti notevoli e le materie prime freschissime. Abbiamo preso la Fondue Chinoise per due e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti, la consiglio vivamente.

05/07/2025: In a small alley in Courmayeur you can find an excellence of Italian catering. Here the typical food is absolutely more focused than in the usual restaurants where they offer only commercial food. The territory is exalted to the nth degree with the search for what the nature of the mountain offers. Excellent eel and grilled rabbit accompanied by sauces with local herbs, but the venison combined with the reduction of bark and lichen literally projects you into the forest of the Mont Blanc mountains. Excellent the mountain pine dessert. The chef shows an excellent hand and a passion for research that intrigues even the most suspicious customer. Good in the dining room with attention to the customer. Good wine list. Prices proportionate to what you eat. The star can only come .... well done, keep it up!

Il Vecchio Ristoro

20/07/2025: A restaurant in the heart of Aosta, with a welcoming dining room furnished in typical Aosta Valley style. We chose the tasting menu with wine pairings: an excellent experience. The sommelier proved to be very knowledgeable in pairings, enhancing each course. The pre-appetizers were delicious, well-balanced dishes with attention to detail. A special mention goes to the flavored butter and the quail, the best I've ever tasted. A must-see for any true lover of good food. Excellent value.
13/07/2025: Undoubtedly the best restaurant in Aosta. One star is more than deserved; a second star would be justified. Masterful dishes. Traditional yet very creative cuisine. Product combinations are always surprising, yet balanced. Exceptional raw materials. Extensive wine list. More than perfect value for money. Every time, a moment of wonder. Congratulations to all of you.
